We had trouble sleeping with the dogs barking but everything else was great. Will be back.

Took our toddler camping for the first time here. We actually ended up staying at Janine's other campsite on their farm because this one was a bit more tight in terms of space (it would have been totally fine for us adults, but the other site is a bit more open/larger which was helpful for having a kiddo running around).
Janine was a wonderful host. Make sure to check out the video she sends so you can orient yourself to getting around the place. We crossed the creek no problem in our Subaru Forester (AWD), but it is a 14% grade, so you definitely need the AWD or 4WD.
Had a wonderful time at this campsite! I don't have 4WD so had to cross the creek by foot but I really enjoyed that aspect. The site was private and had more amenities than I was expecting - table, chairs, trash and recycling! Decent sized fire ring and the oven rack was convenient to cook over the fire with. The creek felt amazing to rinse off in and was a very relaxing sound to fall asleep to. The road nearby was noisy early in the evening but quieted down a lot when we were actually wanting to sleep.

Neat location with horses that roam. We were tucked in the corner which was great for our dogs. Our host was more than willing to accommodate any of our needs. The creek area is nice to walk just wish the weather was warmer to play in the water. Definitely cruise down to Buckeye Dairy Bar, it was delicious and such a nice find!
I would definitely stay here again. Host and site were better then we could have hoped. Beautiful creek to swim and fish in. Host made a toilet for the site which was a plus.
Was a great stay. Off the road as stated in other reviews but still feels secluded and away. Beautiful fields and a covered camp area. Rained during the night but ground wasn’t a mess due to being covered! And if you’re feeling adventurous, follow the horse trail on the back of the property. A rigorous and steep hike to the top of a ridge with beautiful scenery and covered by the woods. Had a great time and will be back.
(We actually ended up staying at the other campsite on this property, but did check this one out also and it looked nice.)
Janine was great about communicating after we booked, and checking to see if we had everything once we got there, although we didn't have any cell service to respond (we have Republic Wireless).
It was nice to have cans for trash and recycling, nice big fire pit and cooking rack. The creek was so beautiful, we waded a bit, skipped rocks and had a picnic down there. There were several nice spots to hang our hammock. There were some beautiful horses in the pasture next to the campsite.
There was a bit more traffic noise from the road than we were hoping but it did feel secluded. The campsites are not visible to each other.
Overall it was a wonderful anniversary weekend away from it all, would definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed our time camping next to the creek. We could hear the horses in the background neighing at night and morning which was cool. Our site was very private and beautiful. Plenty of trees to put up our hammocks and beautiful stars at night to view. We really enjoyed swimming at the swimming hole. The water was refreshing and very clean. We would go back here again to stay. My only complaint was that the wood was wet and hard to light.
