Happy campers here! We loved the goat farm and everything about our experience camping on the property. Firstly, camping right next to a goat pen is cool on it's own! The owners were so kind and welcomed us when we arrived. We had ample information communicated prior to the trip and were able to easily contact someone with any questions. The property is beautifully renovated and located close to amenities but you feel tucked away in the woods. Within about a 10min drive to the CVNP trail heads and a 5min drive/ 30min walk to Blossom Music Center. There's a nice area to yourselves where you can set up a tent , have a fire, a picnic table and trees to put up a hammock. Wake up with the goats , chickens and other friendly animals that live on the goat farm. My fiancé and I will most definitely be planning to camp again on the goat farm.

Absolutely perfect! We stayed next to the barn our first night and in the barn (due to impending storms) our second night. Both experiences were wonderful—wood and water ready to purchase, goats and chickens to pet and friendly, warm hospitality that made my family feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back!

We had such an incredible time at the goat farm! Allison went above and beyond to welcome my family (myself, husband and two kids) and to make us feel at home—from bubbles to farm toys to painting to “mining” for gems to games in the barn—it was an extraordinary experience for all of us that my kids cannot stop talking about! And of course, the highlight was being able to pet, feed, pick up and read to the animals—our city kids were beside themselves! We ended up changing our itinerary to add another night on the back end of our trip home from Pittsburgh to Chicago. This was my kids’ first time camping and the bar has been set very high for all their future excursions thanks to Allison’s exceptional hospitality. Can’t wait to return!

Our family really enjoyed the farm. They could not get enough of the animals. And since it is so close to the national park, there are plenty of outdoorsy options in the area. Allison was great - very friendly and accommodating, and she was great with the kids.
Be aware that it will not be a super private setting. You are right on the farm, meaning that you will be interacting with Allison throughout as she takes care of the animals. She also has other group activities going on even though you scheduled to camp there, so be aware that you may be sharing the space with other family groups throughout the day.
The setup was WONDERFUL for kids. They enjoyed the gem mining and yard games while I got our tent set up, and we all loved the friendly goats. Allison was helpful and friendly as well. Port a potty was clean.
Clear directions, quiet area
I had a great time camping here! Allison was super welcoming and helpful. Everything was as described and the goats and other animals were so adorable. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to the area!
The farm is so fun! My kids loved playing with all the animals, and Allison was very accomplished.
