Gold Coast 30/50amp 51ft

It had wonderful views and was peaceful. It was also a convenient walking distance to facilities. Everyone who works there is lovely.

Tent - FHU

This was a delightful experience. We were there for the total eclipse and the staff were so attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The only downside was that we had a pretty muddy campsite, but other spots weren't as muddy.

Deluxe Cabin - Pet Friendly

The cabin was clean and sturdy against the wind and rain, which was all the weather we had for the stay. Dog park and playground looked nice. Campground owner was friendly when we checked in.

Tent - FHU

Lovely place to stay.

Staff was super friendly and the campground was really nice. Not too big so it felt homey. Nice shower house with individual bathrooms with showers. We were there for the eclipse so it was pretty full, but sites were roomy enough. I really liked that there were a few RV sites and tent sites adjacent to each other so we could camp next to friends with different accommodations. We were camping at a time that was very wet. Gravel pads at each site for parking vehicles in the would have been helpful, but we made it work.

Eclipse camping

We booked an RV site for the eclipse and were not disappointed. The sites are extremely close together, and this bothered us at first. The close proximity ended up being a blessing, as our kids and the kids next door became close friends and were inseparable the rest of the trip. The amenities were far nicer than I expected—clean, warm bathrooms and showers, a big pool, playground, softball diamond, basketball court, and Gaga pit. The camp store supplied us with some amenities when we ran low (though prices were marked up). The staff were so friendly! We had a fantastic time and will book again if we’re out that way in the future.

Tent - FHU

This campground has individual bathrooms with showers, a big plus in my opinion. There were some activities and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. I was there for the eclipse so the campground was full of friendly and excited folks. It was kind of like a big party due to this once in a lifetime event. The tent sites are close together so this isn’t a good choice if you’re seeking a private escape. If you like to hang out with your campground neighbors, this is a good choice.
