The base camp is nestled in the heart of Uwharrie National Forest, conveniently positioned across from the Eldorado Outpost, which serves as the permitting center and recreational hub for the Uwharrie area. Directly across from the base camp, you'll find fuel, a restaurant, and all necessary camping provisions, all within easy walking distance.
Our base camp offers several designated areas for boondocking or setting up a full overland camp.
