Looking for peace, contentment, and to get away to just unwind? Look no more than our Oasis on Harmon Creek! Pitch your tent, van or popup on or near the bank of our creek with lots of shade and complete privacy. You can drive right up to most sites, weather permitting. You will have access to: a Porta-Jon (there are 2: one at the common area, and another at the RC Crawler Park), a fire ring, fire wood, a picnic table, clean drinking water, the creek to explore, and our pond to fish. With 150 acres to explore, you won't lack for lots of nature to enjoy. Our cows (including minis!), pony, miniature horse, sheep and donkeys are all eager to meet you, as are we! Like us on Facebook (Harmon Creek Farms of NC) for the latest on what's going on here at the farm. :)
Sites 1 is at one end of the camp and is right on the creek. It's back by a meadow for plenty of room for additional tents and gear.
Site two is our original first campsite, and a favorite among our repeat guests. It has a grassy area for pitching your tent, and a beach area for playing on the creek. Perfect for families, this site will accommodate multiple shelters or tents, has lots of trees for hammocks, and is large enough for your vehicle. This site has an access drive through it to get to and from site 1, which is approximately 100 yards away. If booking a large group, book sites 1 and 2, then add up to 10 additional campers per site. There's plenty of room for 6 or more tents between them!
Site ?- Our newest site, yet to be numbered, is located between sites 1 & 2 on the back side of the meadow. There are lots of trees for privacy and shade as well as a place to hang your hammock. If you don't want to be right on the creek but want privacy and seclusion, this site is for you!
Site three is right on the creek and backed currently by a soybean field. It is perfect for popup campers or multiple tent campers, but can prove challenging to get to after heavy rains. A small grouping of trees separates this site from a field and the farm road.
Site four is about 50 yards from Site three, which is perfect for families traveling together but in need of separate space. It is short on creek frontage, but is backed by a large field keeping it from feeling closed in. It has separate sleeping and eating areas with room for sleeping and dining tents. Please check on accessibility for your vehicle before requesting to book this site.
Sites 5-7 are also on the creek, and are more remote. These 3 sites require 4x4 and larger tires to drive up; however, we are happy to ferry you and/or your gear in. They are all wooded providing privacy and easy hammock camping as well. Again, picnic tables and fire rings are provided at each site.
Site 10 is currently our most remote site and is only accessible with 4 wheel drive and larger tires due to recent rains. It is LARGE, very private, and drive up by 4wd truck or SUV. The creek frontage is long and it includes a beach where you can put your camp chairs in the water and cool your feet, as well as a deeper area to float or swim in. The entire area is predominately sand with many trees (it's heavily shaded) for your hammock. It's our family's favorite! :)
Site 11 has recently been relocated and . It is located on a small creek that dumps into the larger creek approximately 50 yds away. This site is closest to our RC Crawler Park and provides access to a Porta-Jon and Handwashing station. It's only downside is it is farthest from the pond and other common areas, so you'd probably want to drive back and forth (approximately 1 1/2 mile) to the pond to fish, pet the animals, or fill up your potable water containers.
Site 12 is located right on the pond which is perfect for driveup with any vehicle as well as for fishing access 24/7! Closest to the arbor for your clean water needs, it is backed by our miniature cow pasture. Privacy it provided at the wooded area just a short walk away.
Please message with questions or to let us know how remote you feel most comfortable before you book, and we will put you in the site that is perfect for you!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The host was kind and welcoming, and the site was nestled against a beautiful gurgling creek. Dog friendly was a BIG plus. I’ll definitely return.
Cheryl and her husband were absolutely delightful. Cheryl was so helpful and sweet. The farm is beautiful and it was a one of a kind experience. It was my daughter’s and I first time camping and we had an amazing time. We felt safe the whole time. Getting to feed the animals was a great experience for us, and getting to dip our feet in the creek was really fun! I definitely recommend staying here if you want to have a great time camping.
Our family had the BEST time camping at this location! The campsite was perfect and we love how secluded we were from others. My boys loved the farm and fishing in the pond. Cheryl was so kind and helpful. We plan to return soon! Thank you!
How camping should be!
What an incredible weekend stay. Cheryl and her son were very helpful and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Even the pony and donkey were friendly. The campsite was right on the creek and was spacious and peaceful. Fishing in the pond was a success. Overall a great place to camp either by yourself like I was or with your family. Highly recommend!
Nice farm but noisy pond-site camp
We (me and my son) reserved camping site no. 4 but for two reasons we did not stay there: 1) we were told that a bee hive was spotted over there, and 2) I had a low sedan, was told that it may be problematic to get there. So we were offered a beautiful spot next to the pond instead. The main issue is the pond site is close to the road passing by the farm so there is some noise especially at night. There is also a small house right across the pond with lights on. The host is a very nice person. Very helpful and attentive on the needs. The farm is beautiful with animals. Overall my son loved it. If we would go next time, I would try the camping site since it would have more privacy and be away from the noise.
10/10 recommend. We asked for a more private site along the water for our dog to swim and Cheryl was so accommodating! We loved her suggestion and the sites were spacious and clean. On our way out we enjoyed her petting zoo and getting to see the animals.
