Hello HipCampers!

My name is Morgan, and I have had the pleasure of camping at many HipCamp spots across the country. I bought my own house and property last year, and I am excited to be able to extend the same hospitality to the HipCamp Community. My little spot is modest, but charming, and it just might be the perfect spot for you!

What there is to love:

-The property sits high on a hilltop with beautiful views of the mountains across the valley.

-We are visited all day long by birds and butterflies, and if you’re lucky, you might hear our neighborhood owl at night.

-We have delicious, natural well water.

-We’re an easy 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville as well as Black Mountain.

-We have a fire pit, and firewood is on the house. :)

-I am an avid hiker and always happy to offer advice on great local hikes!

What to be aware of:

-In agreement with our neighbors, we keep quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. (I value maintaining healthy relationships with my community, so I’ll be a stickler about this one.)

-Potty talk time! The toilet on site is a camp toilet (think a bucket with a seat). Not glamorous, but it works.

-There is only one parking spot for this campsite. There is a short walk between the parking spot and the campsite.

The site was nice and secluded and there was a ton of space for a tent! We were able to enjoy a fire throughout our stay and had plenty of space to play games/lounge around. We had a perfect view of the stars and were able to see the mountains! This spot is definitely a place I’d like to come back to

The best experience I’ve had renting something for a few days. The view was incredible and the host was amazing. Morgan was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend such a beautiful and secluded site to everyone. Morgan was generous enough to supply water, firewood, fire starters and great recommendations to local hiking spots and restaurants. So happy I booked with her!!! Thank you for such an amazing experience.

Morgan was an absolute angel of a host. Her property is beautiful and although the weather didn't want us to have fun, she helped us with whatever we needed to truly enjoy our stay. We will totally be back!

We had a nice experience! Morgan was kind and accommodating, and the plot was beautiful!! I will warn that it is hilly and hard to find two flat spots for two tents, tho there is one great spot. The free firewood and water were a huge plus. Glad we stayed here!

My girlfriend and I loved our stay on Morgan's land. She came down the drive as we pulled up and let us know where to park, provided firewood, and told us about great hiking spots (ask her for recommendations!)

The site is in a clearing next to Morgan's property, with plenty of privacy against a small bamboo patch. There's a small, simple tent bathroom close by and glow-in-the-dark pebbles sprinkled about the paths so you can find your way at night. The night sky is extremely clear and great for star gazing.

We would absolutely stay here again. Morgan is great, and the dog of the house sometimes comes by to say hi :)

Morgan provided firewood, and when she noticed there were no more starter kits, she brought us moreMoonrise MeadowThe dog on the property gave us the tour with Morgan and then kept to himself 🙂Beautiful trails within 20 minutes of site

Both Morgan and the campsite were very accommodating—provided water, a fire starter and easy access to bathroom! We enjoyed a quiet night by the fire pit, surrounded by nature and appreciated the privacy. Would definitely camp again and recommend.
