If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We loved our stay. Our dogs loved there stay. Just be careful letting them in the water owners try their best to clean up all the sharp shells by the water just keep your eyes out! The Owners are super friendly and know the best spots to go if you're looking for things to do during the day. Nice big fire pits for making smores would recommend stay here if you get a chance it's quiet and semi private there where a few other campers there but way better then a giant camp site there also a dump site near by if your tanks are getting full!
The space has a lot of potential and it’s a nice place to see the sunrise and sunset. However, I would say after speaking to other campers, we realized that we were all sold the camp spot by the water. (It is also promoted in a different booking site) We got there a bit late, but when we got to the site, there was another family in our location. Amanda had confirmed our spot was the one all the way at the end the night before. The day of, her husband (very nice man) told us that they just open a new campground and that our location was no longer the one at the end but a different one. There are now 5 spots with 2 fire rings that are to be used as a communal area, which I must add are located on other camper’s sites. It makes the situation a bit awkward and uncomfortable.
I think that the location by the water should be strictly the communal area. The group that was there didn’t mind us walking over, but it’s just uncomfortable and a bit invasive to walk to the water while there family is enjoying their space. Also, be mindful that not everyone will feel comfortable someone walking through their campsite.
The camp ground is surrounded by a marsh, so there are lots, I mean LOTS of mosquitos. Our citronella fire and repellent didn’t even help. So keep that in mind when considering this.
Again, I think it has potential and her husband said they’re new at this so given that, I am given an honest review and hope it helps them.
