Amenities score!
Great location and snug as a big during a long thunderstorm, and well ventilated even as the hot weather beats down outside. Love cooking on the outside cooking stove and the shower is delightful. This trip persuaded my boys that am RV life might be for them:)

Beautiful rhododendrons and tall pines = peaceful surroundings. The evening sleep is comfy on nice crisp sheets and a comfy large mattress. Wake up to bird sounds and prep your coffee on an outdoor stove and ready. The outdoor shower is delightful! We would come back in a flash

Great location for hiking !
I had a great time spending my birthday weekend at Mark and Abby's camper. The hosts are super friendly and responsive and just great people, but they also left me to do my thing. The camper is well situated in a beautiful forest on the back of their property about 200 feet from the barn/parking area and 300 feet from their home. The camper and associated outdoor space is very private and a perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The king size bed was comfortable and the outdoor cooking area includes a gas camp stove, pots, pans, water, etc. The port-a-john was the cleanest one I've ever seen. The location is just a few hundred feet from the Blue Ridge Parkway and just a few miles from Boone and Blowing Rock. Firewood is available for a small fee. I'll definitely return!

The Perfect Camper Experience!
This is the perfect spot for a wonderful stay in the mountains! We arrived and took a look inside the camper, and we fell in love with it. We were able to make some coffee in a French press, cook dinner, and have one of the best experiences we have had this year. Mark, the host, came down to meet and greet us and tell us a little about his family and their life here. This place is so close to downtown Boone so we were able to go and tour the town as well. Would we recommend this Hipcamp and go back to it? Definitely! Thanks so much for a great time all around.

Great setup. You can tell that it was well thought through, as the owner provided everything we needed for a fun escape. And very responsive!
