I recommend Ed's RV pad but only if you're aware of the situation before you book it. Pros: Ed is a nice guy and a really hard worker and you can tell he really loves working on his property. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and it's really soothing to have the sounds of the river flowing right behind your camper.
The road just outside of the camp has a one lane bridge, so approach the property carefully. Despite the description that makes it sound like a single site, there are actually FOUR sites, squeezed together pretty tight. The other three sites may be full timers and they all had dogs that sometimes liked to bark on the middle of the night. Plus Ed is a pretty horrible communicator. The site number that was on our reservation had a rig on it when we got there, and it is apparent they had been there for a long time. We just parked in the one open site and hoped for the best and ended up being okay.
There is wifi advertised but you'll need to track Ed down for the details, and don't expect good cell service. Between the two of us, Spectrum and AT&T always had very poor reception while we were there.
So it's a very pretty spot but if you're looking to get away from people just beware that you will be surrounded by others.

What a great hidden gem located on the water! Full hook ups & lots of privacy! Location is perfect for exploring the area…Nantahala, Bryson, Blueridge, Ellijay, Blairsville, Maggie Valley, Waynesville. I hate to even share these kind of finds, but Ed is such a great guy that is truly pouring his heart into creating the perfect destination, I’ve gotta promote Mountain Riders. We stayed 5 nights in our Airstream right on the water with our 2 goldens. It was perfect! He also has some cabins, tent camping, and adding some glamping tents that are going to be Fab! If you love nature, no frills, no hustle bustle, no uptight campground rules, just respect the property, and your neighbors, then you will love this place like we do! Thanks for your hospitality, Ed! Looking forward to returning!

The RV site was so easy to use and very well maintained and clean. Right on a creek so it's amazing sounds and a nice little cleanse every morning. Easy drive into smallish town and then close to rafting and Smokey Mountains. The hosts were incredibly helpful and generous with some of our troubles. Legit a 10/10 experience.
What a wonderful and peaceful few days. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Perfect little gem on the creek
