Heartstone tent site is a stunningly beautiful, romantic, and very, very private campsite for 2! There is a new, large tent pad if you would like to invite friends! Islandsite is an equally beautiful tent site ideally for two, but the 10x12 platform can accommodate a 6-man tent, best for 2 adults and a couple of kids! You won't want to leave, but if you do there are many recreational opportunities in the area such as hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, and more! Stays of 4 days or more get a big discount! Enjoy the fresh, cooler mountain air, and the beautiful, private settings! Heartstone is located on a modestly pitched, terraced slope where a divided mountain stream, the tumbling Squally Creek rejoins itself! The sunlight filters down through the forest canopy providing a warm, inviting glow!! There is a 9'-6" x 10' wooden tent platform, and if needed a new, larger tent pad! Islandsite is located at the top of the island where the tumbling Squally Creek divides! Access is provided by the 40' long fallen tree bridge! Islandsite is unique, private, and very romantic! Both Heartstone and Islandsite feature a picnic table, charcoal grille, and comfort facility all within a short walk from your private parking! Enjoy evenings at the new fire pit area with benches overlooking the fire pit and creek! Explore the island on the 400' island trail, or go downstream to a nice pool for dipping! Contact me for discounts when staying more than 5 nights! The gravel road is uneven, and 5" of clearance is recommended. Extra guests are an available option! The property is spacious and there is parking for a second vehicle nearby if needed!

The tent right next to the creek was awesome, non stop water noise! You can even take some “baths” in the creek.

Island camping

Brian is a great host. He brought coffee when greeting us the first morning. Overall a great area and beautiful site surrounded by the river. Was a little difficult carrying stuff over the bridge from our car to the site. Definitely recommend not doing it when the sun is setting. Everything was well kept up and ready for the next camper.

Heartstone

This was our favorite campsite to date. Brian has several things there for you to use, which was very helpful. The site is very private, which is nice when you need a quiet getaway. It was so relaxing falling asleep to the sound of the crystal clear creek that runs alongside the campsite. There are a couple spots to pitch your tent (which was helpful because our tent was just barely too big for the platform) the parking spot it right by the site so it made unpacking / repacking very easy. Brian was also very kind and provided great instructions on how to get there! We loved this place so much and can’t wait to come back!

BEAUTIFUL

This place is magical! Brian has put so much care and thought into small details that make your stay just that much better. You can tell he cares and loves this space and we were grateful we got to experience this spot. I can’t wait to go back and take a dip in the river when it’s warmer. Overall great place, well maintained and just absolutely stunning!

This place was completely awesome! Absolutely beautiful. The site is well laid out and has many conveniences. Listing to the streams water the whole time was super relaxing. We will be back.
