Near the first campsite is also a public access point for our local community who is allowed to come and swim. If you prefer to see few people and have more quiet and seclusion, plan to set up in site 2 or 3 (primitive site) . Site 2 can accommodate 2 medium sized tents and site 3 one medium sized tent.

The riverside campsites are right along the pristine South Toe river in a forested area at the edge of our organic farm. The camping sites are private and each site can access the river for swimming or fishing. Folks park at barn and walk 1 minute into farm where the sites are. There is a  pavilion for eating or hanging out with power to charge your phone, plus twinkle lights that can be used at night. Each site has a  firepit  and wood is at pavilion (if paid for and reserved).  Sites are in our main vegetable production area so we are around and working during weekdays but less on weekends. There is an electric fence nearby, so use caution, it is flagged. We encourage guests that like a quiet camping experience with simple needs.

We rented this camp site, plus two smaller, twice we enjoyed it so much. A quiet woodland spot next to the beautiful Toe river with a dark sky view near the farmed land adds an exceptional view of the Milky Way. The larger camp site can accommodate a glamping 6 person tent with a nice fire pit and the other two sites good for one to three person tents.
Very private location.. Great hosts

Awesome stay! Beautiful setting along the river and perfect for two families. We both stayed in site 1 and had room for both tents. Loved exploring up and down the river, fishing and playing in the water! Nicole was very responsive to messages and the organic vegetable box is a must! Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful and beautiful spot. Campsite 1 is large enough for two tents, we tried out our “glamping “ 6 person/vestibule and could have put another 2 person nearby. Sites 2 is smaller, accommodating up to a 4 person, site 3 maybe 2 singles at this moment. Two nights of stunning Milky Way views, a pair of beavers clapping along the river, a Cooper’s Hawk and owl flying through camp, and privacy between a few meandering kayaks.

Exactly as advertised. Beautiful spot, stunning stream right out your "door" -- all on a working farm turning out bountiful produce. Get the optional vegetable box! This place really is everything hipcamp was designed for. Can't wait to return.

A hidden gem—the river was perfectly clean and refreshing, the campsite was roomy and ready for a campfire, the outhouse was totally fine, and we enjoyed an incredibly clear view of the stars. Such a treat and an easy distance from Asheville. We’d love to come back!

A beautiful secluded place to camp. We loved the swimming hole. We stayed at camp site 1 and due to covid only 1 family at a time was allowed to stay. The other 2 campsites were not nearly as flat as campsite 1. I am not sure we would have enjoyed our stay as much if we had to share the porta-potty and covered picnic table with 2 other families. (It rained one night we were there and we were very thankful to have covered picnic table to eat at during the rain.)

Glad we found this place! Our camp site was great we enjoyed being right on the water with the sound of rushing water in the distance. Nicole was very good a communicating back and forth about our stay. A few locals were swimming a couple days and were very friendly. We really enjoyed having the place to ourselves and hanging out. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you want to be a little more secluded than your normal campground.
