Eden Oaks Vineyard & Campground was a tobacco farm (antique tobacco barn still on property). The house was built in 1910 and has been updated. We purchased it in 2014 and converted it into a vineyard. We have RV sites with 50 amp and 30 amp electric hookups and water, and tents sites. For 2023 our rates are $30/night for RV Sites (50 amp or 30 amp electric hookups and water) and $25/night for Tent Sites. Tent sites do not have electricity or water hookups, but water is available at the well. (Due to inflation, 2024 our rates will be $30/night for RV Sites, $25/night for Tent Sites.) We do not have a dump station, but we do have a Port A John and a list of dump stations nearby. Campfires are allowed unless we have a state issued burning ban. Campers are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires. Please be extremely careful during dry or drought conditions. Conveniently located one mile from Hwy 421 but remote and peaceful with plenty of room to roam on our 22 acres with grapevines, fruit trees, forest, creeks, fields, goats, Beagle and Jackabee (Beagle/Jack Russell) dogs, cows, chickens, ducks and goats. Also, we have wildlife such as birds, squirrels, groundhogs, deer, raccoons, opossums, etc. We are about 15 miles from Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro (home of the Merle Fest and Apple Festival). Eden Oaks is 18 miles from W. Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir, 24 miles from Stone Mt. State Park, and 10 miles from Elkin (sponsors of the Wine Festival and Pumpkin Festival). Eden Oaks is in the heart of the Yadkin Valley and Swan Creek AVAs (American Viticultural Area). We're next door (3 miles) to Raffaldini and Piccione Vineyards. Take a day trip to Boone, Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Airy, Winston-Salem, Charlotte or additional areas of interest. We love it here and would like to share it with you. Learn more about this land: Shaded and semiprivate in woods with creek on property. Located on a working vineyard in the Swan Creek AVA. Primitive camp sites with campfire pits. Great experience camping here with friends, our site was quiet, and for $10 got a bunch of wood on site. Thanks again!

Site 2 RV
Roy and Sandra were excellent hosts! Roy always made sure we had everything we needed including some of the best firewood I have ever burned! Sandra communicated all details very well and even provided a list of places in the area where we could empty our holding tanks on our way home. Electric and water hookups were easy to access and the site was pretty quiet except for the occasional road noise but its not a very busy road. If I were to recommend the best RV site it would be site #4 with 2 & 3 a close second. Site #1 (site we were on) is close to the house and right under an area light but still felt pretty private and a large bush helped block some of the area light that shined at night. We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed daytime activities such as the hiking/biking trail that passes through Elkin as well as the lovely outdoor beer garden downtown. If you enjoy wine there are plenty of vineyards in the area to keep you entertained, We also recommend hiking at Carter Falls which is only about a 20 minute drive from the campground! All in all we had a great time and will definitely be back to stay again soon!

Site 1 RV Site
We stayed at site 4 by the tobacco barn and even though the other sites were close by we didn't really see them as their fire pits were on the other side of their camp site - so it still felt somewhat private :) The hosts Sandra and Roy were amazing! Roy brought us a bounty of dry firewood both nights! We also got to meet their CUTE jackabea puppies and explore around and see their goats. Thanks for having us!

Nice little escape!
We had a very peaceful time at Eden Oaks! A good number of trails around their property, definitely make time to visit their little creek too! Sandra and her husband are incredibly friendly. Well signed, easy to get to.

Camping on a vineyard.
Sandra and Roy were very welcoming and provided all the information needed for us to get to their camp sites and enjoy a weekend. The spot was quiet and peaceful, dog friendly, and Roy provided firewood for great nights by the camp fire. The land was great to walk and a map was provided. We made it to 8 wineries over the two days we were there and all within half an hour. We also ate great food in North Wilkesboro and rode bikes on the greenway on 15 minutes away. Overall great place to stay. Would recommend.
