Lisa, Kelly and Brian were some of the nicest people we have ever met. Incredibly helpful when we arrived in regards to finding a site, making sure we had everything we needed etc. they have the RV site right off the road or you can go into the pasture with the horses further back tucked up against the tree line, all depends on how you like to camp. The horses are very friendly but will come over and stir up your camp (sometimes in the very early morning) so be aware of this and put things away before you head to bed. Our dog played with the pony that was hanging with the horses and it was very pleasant!
Lisa and her family alone made the experience far better than anyone could ever as, her and her husbands hospitality and kindness gives hope to humanity in this world, the site for a tent was tucked back away in a pasture, plenty of natural resources around to make your experience exactly what you want, as long as you don't mind curious farm animals(we loved them!) this place is for you ! Extremely dog friendly
The site I chose was close to other mobiles, but if you desire a lot more privacy the place to be is in the back of the property. No bathhouse, but Lisa said it was coming soon. Very convenient off 95, no road noise.
We can't wait to go back!
The hosts, Lisa and Brian, are very friendly, accommodating and personable. It is a great place to go to relax, listen to the sounds of nature (birds, farm animals, crickets, and frogs), and to go fishing. The shade trees provided plenty of shade during the day, but we were still able to see plenty of stars at night. We had an awesome time and look forward to returning soon.
Lisa and Brian were the most accommodating hosts! They greeted us when we arrived and showed us around their place to help us pick a camping spot and then made sure we were all set up and comfortable. It was lovely meeting them. The campsite was secluded, yet just a short distance away from a bathhouse with a bathroom, stove, microwave and refrigerator. Their place is also a 10 minute drive from the town with plenty of restaurants.
Lisa was an amazing host. So sweet & accommodating. We loved our stay with them and would definitely like to stay with them again. We stayed with 4 children and they loved the ducks, horses, and cows and had a blast in the paddle boat. Excellent weekend.
