Jessica & Tender Wolf were wonderful hosts to their lovely property. From additional landmark directions, to setting up a campfire when we arrived late, to helping out w/ keeping our 2yo & dog busy if needed made this trip more like spending time w/ extended family. The Shuga Shack was enough room for us & there’s plenty of room to stretch out on the property w/out imposing on other campers or cool off by the creek when needed. In short our time here wasn’t long enough & will be our go to when returning to the mountains.
Best hipcamp experience bar none
Staying at Cloud 9 is the best. The tiny house is clean and comfortable; the property is well cared for. The host, Jessica, is warm and welcoming. She's thought of everything, from the heated outdoor shower to the shared kitchen space. She's building a community that you want to be a part of.
Can’t wait to come back!
As a travel nurse I decided to venture out and enjoy the mountains of Asheville a bit more then my usual hotel. What a gem! It’s rustic but in a lovely piece of land abd the host is the most kind person! It was a community in the evening... sharing food and enjoying the campfire! I will most definitely book this place again and can’t wait to explore more!
Soooooo lovely sleep by the creek. It was the perfect space for us. We really enjoyed the space, the amenities and the land. The hosts were amazing, we had a great time around the community fire pit!
Wonderful tiny house; incredible value. Nestled next to mountain creek; hot outdoor shower behind the barn. Can’t beat it! Looking forward to another visit. Thanks for hosting us, Jessica!
Lots of bugs, live and dead
We booked the tiny house and camper for 2 nights. when part of our group arrived at the tiny house they walked in and found the place infested with bugs, alive and dead. They were on the bed and everywhere. One flow in my ear. These were mostly ladybugs but also stink bugs and other types. We had no idea we were booking a place like this. Our host was pleasent but said they were all over everywhere this time of year, including her house. This was not mensioned in the description. We decided within an hour we couldn't stay here. The host said she would refund us. That refund was $65 of the $250 we spent. Please be advised when booking the camper and tiny house there could be lots of bugs.
I had an amazing stay here! I was skeptical to how warm the shed would be in the fall as the temperatures dropped, but i was pleasantly surprised! A heater was provided, but there was no need for it as the shack was very well insulated. Jessica was very welcoming and made us feel at home there! We had a great experience and will definitely come back if in the area again!
