Don't just count sheep, sleep with them! We offer our camping guests an opportunity to set up camp in pastures where we keep our gentle livestock: goats, sheep, lambs, mini-horses, ducks and geese who roam our pastures and are friendly and approachable.
Pitch a tent on the edge of the woods at your choice of 2 pastures: both have a shallow creek and woods and animals you can interact with!
If you enjoy quietly watching wildlife, you're in for a treat...this magical portion of the farm provides a forest cover for songbirds, owls, deer, red-tailed hawks, red fox and wild turkey.
We are available for check-in anytime during the week, but our farm and farm store are only open on weekends from 11-3.
Our farm is an agritourism farm. On Saturday and Sunday, we open the Farm gates to the public to enjoy our farm, special events, and animals. You are invited to come up to the farm as well.
We sell ice cream from a local dairy in pints or half gallons in a variety of flavors. Don't forget to order your firewood, S'mores kit, farm eggs, and fresh pork sausage to eat at your morning campfire!
If you are a tent camper, you can camp anytime during the week or weekend at the first campsite you see when you turn in the driveway. For travel trailers, we allow check-ins only on Friday or Saturdays because you are parking in a different part of the property and we need to be available when you arrive to make sure you are able to get into this pasture with no issues.
Either site has picnic tables, firepits, porta potties, woods, stream and clearing. While we want you to explore, we ask that you do not cross through any closed gates since we keep a private area closed to the public.
During summer months, we let the animals out into the same pasture that the tent campers are in, so there will be plenty of interaction as the animals explore your tent site area.
- Check in: After 4PM
- Check out: Before 12PM
- Cancellation policy: Moderate
- On arrival: Meet and greet
- Minimum nights: 1 night
- Accepts bookings: 3 months out

Great host! Very accommodating and flexible.
And the location is excellent! A destination in itself.
Easy to access. Everyone on the farm was very friendly. We brought our dog but kept her away from the farm animals. She loved the pastures and small wooded area they have. There were 2 other campers in the field with us. They were respectful and quiet. We had plenty of room between each campsite. They have a very cool small farm shop with food and other items. Farm animals were close by and we got to feed/pet the chickens, mini-horses, goats, and sheep. Would recommend!

We loved the farm itself!! A little tough for us to get in with our 33ft travel trailer, would def recommend for smaller campers though! Cheryl let my girls pick the eggs from the chickens, and it was a beautiful location!
We stayed for a long weekend and it was wonderful. The animals are super sweet and loved the attention. We paid for a tour and Cheryl was super knowledgeable about everything from the history of the old property to the nuances of sheep breeding. We will definitely be back!
Never had an issue at Brookhaven Mill Farm. Cheryl was a wonderful host who answered all our questions. The property is wonderful and her animals are adorable. Will be coming back for sure.
had so much fun with the horses! our car ended up getting stuck but turned out to be a funny story that we will forever talk about!
My wife and I camped by tent at Creekside in mid Nov. 2021. Overall our experience was great!
We had a blast with all the animals. There are so many and they are very friendly.
Staying for 2 nights, we got to check out the property decently well. I do recommend bringing enough water for yourself and be prepared to be away from power. These are available near the house and barn however when the barn closes (4pm for us), so does your opportunity to get water and power.
I also was a little disappointed with being able to hear the Highway where we were, however that may not be the case for other spots on the property.
We’re already talking about what we can do next time.
