Laurel
Laurel site.
Beautiful site. Very clean and peaceful. Host provided excellent directions to get there. Be sure to screenshot them and the Wi-Fi code as there is NO service up there. Also, bring a wagon or something to get your stuff to the site. It’s a bit of a walk getting from the parking area to Laurel.
I had a family emergency after staying only one night but I would definitely go back. Wi-Fi signal is not good at this particular site.

Getaway
Happy Campers
Very private, quiet campground. The shower and bathroom were clean. The WiFi was great for WiFi calling since there was no cell reception. Laura was very responsive to questions. Our site was near the road so we did experience some road noise. Next visit I would choose a site away from the road.
Thank you 3feathers ❤️

Big Rock campsite
Quick response via HipCamp throughout our stay. Be advised that the picnic table is communal and not in individual sites. Beautiful scenery, clean and operational bathroom facilities. 8/10

Big Rock campsite
Loved my overnight stay here. So peaceful and quiet with the sound of a babbling brook running by the campsite. Laura is a great host. Very helpful. I will definitely be coming back.

Off Grid van/bus/truck/rv camp spot
Much needed solitude
My weekend stay was so great at the off grid campsite. The amenities were perfect! The property and the surrounding area are beautiful.

Fireside Camper/bus/rv spot
Nice stopover
This was a good place for a quick stopover. The showerhouse/laundry room was easy to access and a nice way for us to "dry camp" in our travel trailer. Very clean too!
Two details to consider if you are a nervous driver/not great at parking your rig:
First, to access the location, you have to ride out some twists and turns with rock overhangs. You will sometimes be going around a turn in the other lane (with no view of oncoming traffic) so that you don't hit those rock overhangs. Our rig is small and we're used to offroading, but some may not.
Second, you have to pull the trailer into the spot, detach, and back your vehicle out along the rightside of your trailer. You will drive up a semi-uneven incline to park on the gravel pad and will need to hug the left tightly.
Once you've unhooked you're about a 20-30 min drive from nearby attractions and food. We loved the hot springs spa and going into town for a meal!
