Loved this place and would definitely come back! The host was really nice and made an incredible meal for us ! The one thing is that the sites are further a part than expected but it ended up working out well for our big group
It was an amazing stay. The view of the river from the campsite is amazing. The stress just drops off you as you are surrounded by woods and watch the water go by. The “beach” area is a great place to grab some sun in the afternoon and the upper Delaware is nearby with tons of things to do! Will definitely be coming back to stay at Randall’s place!
Randall’s spot is an oasis of relaxation. We stayed in spot #9 next to the Neversink river. Plenty of room at the site, a nice fire ring, and a convenient folding table. No other sites nearby and the outhouse was close. A quick walk down to a rock beach and the river, which we visited and swam in everyday we were there.
Randall was particularly helpful in setting up our floating/rafting adventure on the Delaware. We dropped our car down the river and he drove us up to a drop in point where we put our SUP and one of his tubes in the river. He was kind enough to help us inflate our SUP. That was above and beyond.
We would come back here in a heartbeat. The setting is gorgeous and Randall is generous.

Great spot on a pretty river. Unwind here! Very private camps.
I loved camping on Randall’s land. This is the second time my family has returned for a holiday weekend, and we hope to keep coming back.
The property is beautiful, there’s a lake that you can drop into and ride tubes (can borrow from Randy or pick ‘em up for $5 from the nearby Walmart). Randall is a teacher, and working the farm, so you can milk goats, collect eggs, do beekeeping, make cheese — if these float your boat (no pun “intented,” haha) — or just camp.
The sites are private and spread throughout the property. Randy is super helpful, drove us up to the top of the river in the morning for a wild 6 hour tubing ride and always available in case we needed help.
As this is our second year, I can tell you the site was even better then last year — the roads are even smoother (my midsize car did perfectly fine), there are fewer bugs (still recommend bug spray for the evenings), firepit is set up, the outhouse is clean and new, table available.
I give my highest recommendations to Randy’s land and to Randy.

Camping on Ugly Apple Farms was a fantastic experience! We stayed on campsite number 9, and it was a great size and location. Randall and his family were super helpful and we enjoyed spending some time with all their animals as well. Randall gave us an in-depth beekeeping lesson and shared his years of wisdom with us. We really loved this campsite and will continue to recommend it!

Great site! Great breakfast!
Randall was very welcoming, kind, and had great hospitality! Loved spending time on the river and walking to the farm to hang out with the animals. We forgot to bring eggs and were easily able to purchase some delicious farm fresh eggs :) We were at campsite 9, which had nice privacy and was a great distance to the outhouse/compost toilet. We parked near our tents, which made it great for unloading and loading our stuff.
Ugly Apple Orchard is a gem! There are multiple campsites on the property, and because we were the only campers for the weekend, we stayed at site 1 instead of our reserved site 9. We drove to check out #9 though and it seems great - it's up a bank from the river (whereas site #1 was along a smaller stream) and had tons of shade coverage. There's an outhouse within walking distance. We didn't see a fire ring at site 9 so check with the hosts if you're hoping for one. Randall stopped by to see if we needed anything (and then we got 2 buckets of wood from him when we told him we needed firewood) but left us alone otherwise. We're definitely going to be back!
