It is linked to 65 miles of Horse trails, hundreds of miles of Snowmobile trails and to the nearly 600 miles of ATV trails. Get the full outdoor wilderness experience that you and your family will treasure for a lifetime.
The Horse Barn is completely modernized and refurbished yet maintains their original authentic rustic charm. The Horse Barn sleeps 10 guests, Queen bed downstairs and a bunk bed, two bedrooms upstairs each with a twin- and full-size bed in them. A relaxing porch with a view of Otter Creek, gas grill and charcoal grill for your outdoor cooking (don't forget your charcoal) Private fire pit area. Dining area, living room, and full-service kitchen equipped with a Keurig coffee machine (bring your K-Cups), dinnerware, appliances and cooking utensils. This comfy cabin is heated using a furnace. A wheelbarrow full of wood for the fire pit is available for $25.00. Smoking is allowed on the porch only and is not permitted in the cabins.

If you’re sitting there reading this and thinking about booking.. do it! This place is a hidden gem! I have not one thing negative to say. The hosts were helpful & willing to go above and beyond for us. I could go on and on about all the things we loved, the water is incredible. You can hear/see it sitting by the camp fire. The horses were breath taking. You can feel the love in the air that the hosts have for their place. I can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for an experience with your family… do it!!
The Horsebarn was the perfect setting for our family reunion for Father’s Day, 2021. The perfect combination between rugged nature outing and comfort, you are surrounded by water and woods that are inviting and relaxing. The campgrounds are organized to maximize space, making sure no one is left out of the warmth of the fire pit. The design also maximizes neighborly connections between the other cabins.
Tiffany, Adam and Makena fuzz over your stay making sure that all details are covered. We enjoyed their extra attentions with a tour of the horse stable, meeting their majestic thoroughbreds: Derek and Daisy! We plan to make a stay at the Trailside Ranch a family tradition.
