These sites at The Heron are numbered 1, 4-15, 71-74 and can accommodate RVs. There are 20amp/110v electric hookups at each site in this section of the campground. Sites 9 and 71-73 can accommodate up to 35ft camper; rest of RV sites can accommodate a small tow-behind or pop-up. The electric fees are included in the cost of camping at $10/day. We only ask that you do not run air conditioners as our grid cannot currently handle it.

Once you create a reservation, be on the lookout for an e-mail from us 1-2 weeks prior to your arrival date that has your reservation form in it. We've gone green and use an online form to get some basic information from our guests so we can ensure your check-in process goes as smoothly as possible! Kids 15 and under are free so don't include them in your headcount!

The Heron is a mindful community, raising conscious vibrations through art, music, farming, education and events while enriching lives and the land. There are going to (typically) be one weekend a month where reservations are not able to be made through HipCamp, instead search for The Heron on Eventbrite for our big event weekends!

The Heron grounds boast a swimming and fishing pond and over 4 miles of on-site hiking trails. Located on over 400 acres in beautiful Chautauqua County, NY, we are a working organic farm with a shiitake mushroom yard and on-site farm store.

We host educational workshops, captivating music festivals, and much more!

We offer many different options for camping, from tent sites nestled in the woods to RV sites with electric hook-ups ($10/day for electric sites that is including in the cost of the reservation.) We do allow pets, all dogs must be leashed at all times with a 6ft leash or shorter, there is a $20/stay pet fee for pets that can be paid prior to arrival, bear in mind there's only a 5 pet capacity at any given time.

COVID-19 NOTICE: We are diligently preparing our property and grounds to meet all required standards of cleaning compliance and social distancing.  Read more about the COVID standards by clicking the link at the top of the Hipcamp website.

Local Attractions: Panama Rocks, Chautauqua Institute, Chautauqua Lake Overland Trail (The Westside of Trail) over 35 miles of hiking, Chautauqua Gorge, Audubon Nature Center, Rails to Trails, Ellicottville Brewery, Southern Tier Brewery & Distillery, Lake Erie Wine Trail, and much more!

A great setting overlooking a valley. . Camping spots are on natural terrain, so you will need to level. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful with set up. Great little farm store with local produce and products.
