We have 10 forested hilly acres 12 miles from Ithaca. We’ve built a camp 120 yards uphill with a covered dry lean-to with a double bed platform inside to put your sleeping bags or to put supplies off the ground & dry. Lots of room for tents. We have a primitive upper camp where you can also put tents for privacy. There’s a teepee with a wood base. The campfire has a grill, 2 homemade benches & an Adirondack chair. An orange hammock and also a picnic table. There’s a fun homemade swing & seesaw. We made many marked walking trails around our land to enjoy. There is access to well water. Dry cut bundled ash Firewood is available for $6 a bundle on our porch. For ecological reasons outside wood from over 50 miles can’t be brought in. . There is a portable toilet and a hose cold shower attachment, not private, to rinse off. Our jump in the one or creek.

Come enjoy. It is very quiet. We are close to Treman, Buttermilk And Taughannock State Parks which all have swimming. Watkins Glen State Park and racetrack is half an hour away. Watkins Glen is breathtakingly magnificent. Also great cross country skiing, walking and hunting nearby at Connecticut Hill. There is downhill skiing at Greek Peak 45 minutes away if you are winter campers. We are 14 miles from Cornell University and 10 miles from Ithaca College. We are between two finger lakes, Cayuga and Seneca, there are 60 wineries and breweries around the lakes.Woman’s Rights National Museum in Seneca Falls, Corning Museum of Glass is fabulous. Ithaca has theatres, museums for art and lots to do for kids like a public pool on the lake.Or simply hang out and enjoy our ten private acres of forest. We love that the canopy of the trees and the lean to kept us dry in the freak storm! The kids loved playing on the sea-saw and swing as well at the teepee and lean to for activities!!! We hiked the trail to the upper and camp and fished pond !! Pamela was a super host and very welcoming- and private camp area !

Beautiful land, fun environment, private & excellent hospitality! Pam met us when we arrived and gave us the low-down of the land! There are private trails right off of the site, my dog was even able to confidently be off leash for the first time.

Pamela and Bob did an amazing job on creating a space for people to genuinely enjoy! The inclusion of hand crafted pieces is unique and so useful! The space is also very private and secluded while still being plenty close enough to necessities. Pamela is kind, helpful, welcoming and makes the process as easy as possible. We will absolutely be coming back to enjoy staying here again!

Excellently maintained site. Choose your own tent, expertly made leanto or TeePee. Also have glamping camper. You do need to carry your stuff up to site, but I did get my cardio inn. Great site, great hosts, great sanctuary.

Pam and Bob’s campsite is such a gem! My boyfriend and I got here when it was dark but it was so easy to get here and the walk from the car to the camping spot was easy even at night. When we woke up the next morning, we were greeted with beautiful fall foliage covering the ground. It was the perfect autumn oasis. There’s plenty of wood made available by the hosts for a small fee of $6. We had so much fun playing on the see saw (haven’t been on one in years!) and on the swing. They also had a hammock that we didn’t have time to use :( It also rained on and off during our stay but the canopies helped us block the rain and it was SO handy that they had a little house/hut with a platform that kept everything dry for us. The location was close to the state parks and to downtown Ithaca. They had boards games and golfballs to use as well. The log benches and tables were so awesome. We wish we had more time to spend but we definitely will be coming back.
