Found of the shores of Green Valley Lake, our Hobbit House is a cozy place to climb into after a day exploring the beautiful Finger Lakes Countryside. We are located midway between Watkins Glen and the quaint village of Hammondsport. Or enjoy the day fishing or kayaking off our 700' of lake frontage.No need to bring your tent and all your camping supplies. Your cozy bed awaits you in the Hobbit, under a shady canopy, with a picnic table, 2 chairs, a firepit, a cooler and a charcoal grill for your use. Bring your own charcoal, food, drink and ice. As you sit at your site, watch as the beaver family swims by, the geese fly in and out, fish jump. See the turtles sunning themselves on a nearby branch. Bald Eagles and Osprey fly over daily, looking for a meal. You may fish; the lake is stocked with bullhead, bass, pickeral, crappy. Take out a canoe or a kayak to get an up close and personal experience with nature.
