The perfect weekend getaway!
Bryan and Ruthie have created such a welcoming and relaxing spot for the perfect getaway! Our tent was very clean and there was lots to do in the area. The brewery just up the road was a great weekend activity and the food was delicious. Bryan and Ruthie have put a lot of effort into making their space comfortable and stylish, and they were a delight to interact with. I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
The glamping tent was beautiful. The community outdoor cooking was great. The surrounding area was fantastic for hiking. From the tent I could hear the live music from the nearby brewery which was really nice. The tents are fairly close together, so not at all ideal for a romantic getaway. There was no hot water in the shower, as promised. And there was a port-o-potty instead of the compost toilet.
If you need a break from city's fast life and want to be a peace, this is the place to be. Beautiful tents and amazing hospitality. It had everything we needed.
Would definitely go back again!
We had such a great time staying at Bryan & Ruthie's site. Both B&R provided a really warm welcome and were friendly and available to offer tools, tips, and suggest things to do in the area. We were able to take our dog roaming through the various fields on the property and had a great time at the brewery across the street (delicious pizza!). The only thing I would change for our next visit would be to get some friends to come with us and rent the other tents!
Thanks Bryan and Ruthie!!!
Truly amazing place
Magical place. Every aspect was bespoke, handmade and well thought out. On a really gorgeous farm with a stream. Our tent was on a raised deck with a porch, had an extra comfy bed, & was nicely decorated. It rained one night and the tent was super cozy and absolutely dry. Ruthie & her son Bryan (& family) were all gracious and helpful. There was a wonderful HOT shower in a lovely custom hut. Coffee/tea set up for the mornings with a variety of seating areas and firepits. There were also millions of fireflies at sunset and a local craft brewery within walking distance. Really everything was perfect.
A great getaway
I can’t speak highly enough about Bryan and Ruthie’s glamping site. Our tent was adorably decorated and cozy; not to mention it comes with a fantastic view. The facilities were incredibly clean and comfortable. Bryan and Ruthie were so attentive and made us feel at home. There’s no shortage of activities to do on site and in the area. We were so pleased with our stay and you will be too!
Gorgeous views, peaceful, relaxing
Upon arriving to the farm (signs were easy to see and follow!) we parked our car in the parking area and were promptly greeted by some friendly chickens and a rooster! We got out and explored the grounds- the three yurts were signed and looked comfortable and welcoming. Brian arrived shortly after and gave us a tour of the site. He was friendly and knowledgeable and a laid back guy, our kind of host! We stayed at Site 1 and had gorgeous views of the plush greenery around us and enjoyed plenty of sunshine and shade. Everything was clean and ready for a great weekend stay. The decor inside of the yurt- and attention to detail- was pleasing to the eye and very comfortable. We enjoyed afternoons with our feet in the creek and Brian made sure to check on us to make sure everything was set to our standards and really made us feel prioritized. Thunderstorms rolled through and we found a safe haven in our yurt- the front doors were able to remain opened without the inside getting wet which led to some pretty amazing views of the storm and lightning. Our dog Goldie found love on the farm- she was crushing pretty hard on Brian and he was great with her! The bathroom was an enjoyable experience- great shower pressure (yes, an outside shower with great pressure and hot water!) each site had its own barbecue and tools to get us grilling! For those who wish to have someone else cook for them, there is a brewery located across the street from the farm, however, if seclusion and peace is what you’re after you will absolutely be able to find it here too. At night the fireflies came out in droves and provided a unique and beautiful light show for us. We enjoyed a fire and peace and quiet until bedtime. The beds were comfortable and accessorized with blankets and a vast amount of pillows! We decided to explore the area and stopped off at some great State Parks along the scenic route and found some great spots to soak up rays and enjoy our time. All in all we had a great time and would absolutely stay here again!
Great glamping experience!
Our family has been long experienced campers but this was our first glamping experience. Alden’s glamping was amazing! It had a very calm and comfortable atmosphere which made us very relaxed being around some chickens.
The canvas tent, deck, fire pit, grill, hot shower --- everything was brand new and super clean. The tent was wide and tall and snuggly fit a family of 5 adults. It was built on a sturdy platform, so we didn’t have any problems during the thunderstorm!
Our favorite was the Westtown Brew Works which was within walking distance from the site (still the campsite was quiet). You can enjoy tasting handicraft beer samplers and hearth-baked pizza in the refreshing outside.
Alden is very nice and responded quickly when we had any questions.
We really recommend this place for your glamping stay!
Beautiful weekend getaway
It was an amazing stay, we especially enjoy the free range chicken roaming about. There was never a dull moment.
They have a amazing shower with hot water set up.
The tent was super comfortable and can really fit a large group comfortable.
There was plenty to do in the area from visiting the brewery up the hill or taking a short drive to the nearest town for ice cream or activities down the Delaware River.
They also had other items available to share! The hosts was just amazing!
Can’t wait to come back again and try another camp site
