The farm adjoins the small, Eastern section of Swan Lake, but we keep our kayaks and canoe on the larger section, west of Rt 55.
Walnut Mountain is just 3 miles north of us, with a 100 mile view on clear days.

The Middle Mongaup trout stream is just 5 minutes to our east, and the mighty Delaware is just 35 mins west.

A perfect stop over.
We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight here. Paul, Marilyn and their farm menagerie couldn’t have been more hospitable and we had plenty of room. A lovely setting right on Swan Lake. Would stay there again.
Exceeds all expectations
When they say free firewood, they’re not talking a bundle, they mean for the night.
When they say farm animals wandering around, they don’t mean a horse and a goat, they mean all the farm animals.
I saw a few tents down by the water, and didn’t want to feel crowded so slept on a little ledge away from them.
The owner? Hospitable and super accommodating. The helper guy? Friendly and proactively helpful.
If your worried that your dog may be too much, don’t be, these farm animals deal with several different dogs every weekend. My pup is no slouch but he got backed down by a turkey and made friends with Peaches the pig :).
Pro - tip call ahead and inquire about their farm fresh meat, missed that this time but will be sure to do on my next trip out.
Highly recommend Beaver Wood Farm! Had an absolute blast on our weekend there. Our German Shepard pup had so much fun playing with the animals & we will definitely be back again.
Beautiful spot, friendly animals
Such a great and peaceful spot. We loved our night and especially our morning with all the animals. Had a great fire, good eats, a comfy night in our tent by the water. The outhouse is a great touch and the free firewood very welcome. We'll be back! Thanks!
Ever imagine what it would be like to spend the night at a petting zoo? Look no further! If you're comfortable pitching tents among farm animals (or renting a cabin from Farmer Paul), this is a truly whimsical stay. The animals are very well behaved, and Farmer Paul is incredibly hospitable. Himself, his wife, and the farm staff are a treat.
Such a lovely experience. Showed up after the animals’ bed time, but waking up to them was so magical. I met Peaches the pig, several beautiful cows, and some very loving goats. Highly, highly recommend for any animal lovers
This was our second time staying at Farmer Paul’s place, we liked it that much! It’s fun being around all the animals and during the week it’s super chill, maybe only two other campers were there during our stay. Highly recommend!
