For Now.. during COVID - BYO toilet or ask and you can hire one for $70 for the entire stay (we deliver, put up toilet tent, provide 2 x toilet paper rolls & pack it down & empty for you). - IF need a hot shower (while covid still on people's minds) ASK us how, as with COVID we have some strict rules we need to adhere to ensure your safety and the rest of our family/guests (otherwise normally you could share the bathrooms we have).
Between the Trees is shady and relaxing, with grassy ground which is not perfectly level but will fit two camper trailers or up to 3 small-medium tents. You can access the site by 4wd, if you have a 2wd you can park approx 100 metres short walk away and carry your gear to the site. Great for kids and dogs, or just for a relaxing getaway!
Bonus this price includes up to 10 people for your stay (or a few extra little persons on top). Great for a couple of families, or a few couples and dogs.
The property is an ex cattle farm with a mix of cleared acres, rainforest pockets, fresh and free-flowing river running through both sides of the property to swim/paddle in, so many birds to listen & watch, and take a stroll to see if you can spot platypus, eel, fish, deer, kangaroos, wallabies ... great swimming hole top of Ellenborough falls to boot as well as pick a spot anywhere on the ellenborough river we reside on.

We have two sizes - half a trailer load is approx a full Tractor trailer load, and a full standard trailer load is a ute trailer filled to the tray top. NOTE: for 3 nights - 4 nights of good fire, we suggest a full standard trailer load. But for a couple of nights, just a tractor trailer load. REVIEW RFS for fire bans in area prior to arrival. Tent camping at the Between the Tree site was awesome. Quiet and easy to access with amenities nearby. the hosts were lovely people.
"Between the trees" was absolutely perfect. We went in summer and the trees offered great shade. We have young children, and being able to set up qhere they can play in the shade all day was perfect. The steap Hill there also offered for great entertainment. We used our boggie boards and our inflatables to slide down it.
Beautiful site between the trees. Quiet and private. As warned a few leaches and ticks so make sure your prepared. Will be back for sure

We had a great time, Jenny and Lucas were very friendly and helpful with loads of information about what to do in the area. We actually ended up staying at River Flat as they kindly upgraded us as there were no other campers at the time. This spot was much closer to the river, although access to the river is quite limited .. but beautiful once you get down there! Hot shower and compost toilet were very welcome and the highlight was the walk down to Ellenborough Falls - fabulous! Thanks Jenny and Lucas for a lovely 3 nights stay
We had an amazing stay at Jennys place. A place to relax and reconnect with nature, we all loved the freedom of open fires and open fields. Shower and toilet excellent. Must visit the rapids when you are in elands, Jenny can direct you!
We stayed mid-week in this peaceful paradise only had to share it with the birds! Jenny was a fabulous host, so generous with her time & knowledge, and has a great 'can-do' attitude. We thank her & the family for their hospitality.

This place is great.
Jenny and Lucas have an amazing place, perfect spot to get away and relax in nature. The amenities are great and the river is lovely for a swim. The fresh milk from the farm cow makes for delicious coffee in the morning.
Great spot and top hosts. Can't wait to visit again.
