Pick your own spot for camping. If you camp close to Hoo Hall or the Pavillion there is access to toilets & showers. If you choose somewhere else on our 660 acres you will need to have your own amenities and leave no trace.

Campfires are permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood can be added on to your booking as an extra - to give you an indication, one wheelbarrow load should last you one to two nights depending on when you start burning and when you go to bed!

Over 600 acres of Australian bush, our property dates back to the early 1900s and there are numerous historic buildings on the property. The earliest is a wooden slab hut that was built around the beginning of the 19th century - the Goulburn Penny Post newspaper, dated 3 December 1904 lines the walls of the hut. It also has a two shearing stand wooden shed built by Marcus Dawe in 1922.

The vegetation has been managed in a park-like setting, retaining the large trees and all the yellow box and rarer varieties of trees and plants. Owned by the Taber family since 1970s, we have run various enterprises on the property from breeding cattle, fine wool merino sheep, lavender, loganberries etc.

Wow, what an amazing place to stay.
This is a 600 acre property close to Jerrawa in NSW. The host Jol is such a friendly guy and can’t do enough to make your stay a pleasant experience.
It was a cold and sometimes wet weekend and we just wanted to test out our new caravan off grid which we we got to do.
There are plenty of facilities to use but because of the weather we did t get to use most of them.
I can imagine in summer with the cricket oval, tennis courts, mountain bikes, 7 hole golf course, dam with zip line etc this would be so much fun.
Jol made up a fire ready for us to use in the outdoor/covered lounge room! Which we didn’t use this time but will definitely be back to try it out.
There is also great history here with a settlers cottage that Jol has restored and is amazing to see. The walls are lined with original newspaper and you can make out the dates it was put up around 1912.
The property dogs Tori, Finn and Aggie are so much fun, they’re super well behaved and obedient and love to hang out with you.
We went for a walk on the 600 acres and saw kangaroos, black wallaby and wedge tailed eagles.
If you want a relaxed, back to nature stop with also plenty on offer to keep yourself or the kids entertained then I would highly recommenf this place.

We had a great stay at Boxgrove.
Meeting up with our friends, with our 2 camper trailers and our dog.
The peace and quiet, the big open space, the kangaroos, the birds and the frogs all set you up to sit back and relax with good company.
There is so much to do, it's a big kids playground. With a golf course, cricket pitch, tennis court, water hole with flying fox, fishing, bush walks all to fill your time.
We enjoyed a spot of golf and exploring some of the area, had a night under the stars with a fire drum and another night by the open fire place and dining area, cooking up a feast.
Definitely a place we'd be keen to come back to..... keen to give the flying fox a go when it is warmer.
Huge appeal for bigger groups.
Karen and Jol and super friendly.

It doesn't get much better than this...I've been camping for 15 years and Boxglove ticked every single box. We were a group of approx. 20 and had a brilliant time. Boxglove has good facilities (incl. hot water), is remote yet accessible, has good cooking areas, firepits. swimming, bush tracks, historical sites and lots of activities for kids. Jol and Karen were great to deal with. I'll be going back.

Another great stay at Boxgrove and we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves this time. The kids rode free loan bikes, played tennis/basketball/cricket/kayaked on the dam/fished for yabbies. Mums and Dads even had a turn on the zip line this stsy. Karen and Jol are the ultimate hosts and spoiled us again with fresh baked cupcakes on our last night (thanks so much Karen!) Highly recommend! Hope to see you guys again soon.
