The large campsite is located on a level, grassed area with plenty of space to pitch tents, or park campers and caravans. The amenities block has both toilet and shower, and there is also power available to connect up to. A large sheltered area, our camp kitchen, includes barbeque, electricity, kettle, table, chairs and more.

Enjoy bird watching, visiting wallabies in the late afternoon, or looking for fossils in the seasonal creek just a few metres away.

The historical town of Stroud is only 10 minutes away if you need supplies.

Karuah River is close by for swimming and fishing, and the Barrington Tops National Park is approximately 50 minutes away.

Ride Dungog is located at The Common in Dungog, for mountain bike enthusiasts. The area includes 650 acres offering trails for all different levels. The websiteTrailforks.com can provide more information.

While visiting Dungog, there are boutique cafes and shops, a historic cinema, and a lot more to see as you wander through the main street.

The Bush Paddock was the perfect location for our Winter Immersion Retreat last weekend. The intention was to take a deep dive into our relationship with ourselves and the natural environment. When yo open the door to the amenties we were pleasantly surpised at eth quality, cleanliness and modern facilities. That along with the undercover area with mini kitchen made food preparation simple and easy. The additional space with an "indoor" fire place and lounges was a bonus and the ample supply of wood for the campfire made the evenings under the stars and full moon just what we needed.
Cherie has done a wonderful job at providing a comfortable camping facility on a lovely property. Highly recommended and perfect for the group gathering.

We were blown away from the first time we arrived at the Bush Paddock. The undercover area is far bigger than it appeared in the photos, and the layout of the site is ideal for camping groups.

Cherie and Greg have done so much to make this site accessible to everyone, and are so friendly. We had a lot of good conversations with them about options and plans for the weekend. Many of my friends have been converted to camping, now that they've seen how comfortably it can be done. We'll be coming back for a lot more trips to see our new friends :)

Amazing clean facilities, very accomodating hosts, they came and checked on everyone, even made sure the hot water wouldn’t run out.
They were able to provide all the things they promised, answered all questions day and night before the upcoming event, very relaxed about everyone being on the property and had such a chilled vibe ! Made for a very easy get away.

Everyone loved the property and said it was beautiful, a lovely breeze comes through during the day.

The bathroom with the power and the undercover fire is such a game changer when it comes to camping.
We hosted a family event and even in the pouring rain we managed to still have a great time and cozy up!

The visitors who came to the event said they would come back for another trip and it’s not too far to drive from Newcastle, left a very good impression on everyone who arrived. All said “better than expected”

Great for the city folk to come have a camping experience with the little luxuries of life still at your fingertips !
Yes even a good ol’ coffee in the morning !
Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful get away with the family or a fun with with mates.

Best part (in my opinion) is not having phone reception so it actually forces everyone to mingle and make their own fun.

What an incredible weekend !!!

Thank you so much !
