It’s a beautiful private property with one RV spot and full hookups. The view is beautiful and the location very convenient if you want to visit both Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The host is very friendly and helpful.

This is a must-book!

What a great site!! Everything (hook-ups, parking space) was just perfect. After a long day on the road, it was so nice to be greeted by such warm and welcoming hosts! Pull in, hook-up, and just relax and take in the beautiful views! A definite 10 out of 10 and then some!

My children and I loved it! My daughter (a horse lover) got to pet and feed apples to Victoria’s beautiful horses. And the adorable, chubby pig is just way too cute to be missed!

Wow. This was our families first HipCamp experience and Victoria and the Sweet Melody Farm was just a great way to kick it off.
We got in late, which was our fault, and she was gracious and kind.

Her directions on HipCamp were very helpful as it kept us mostly on nicely paved rodes as opposed to the GPS instructions that would have us driving down dirt roads.

We arrived in the dark and rain, yet her location was easy to find and we were able to quickly hook up our camper to the electrical hookup.

We awoke in the morning to gorgeous clear skies and a beautiful country setting in the High Desert of New Mexico. Victoria introduced us (we are a family of 6) to her two horses and her heritage pig. She gave us her recomendations of what to do during our stay in the ABQ area.

The property was very clean, organized and just a pleasure to stay at. I would highly recomend Victoria and her farm if you are looking for a hipcamp in the area.

We stopped here for a night in January 2021. The hosts were warm and friendly, meeting us at arrival and quick to respond to any questions. The setting is gorgeous on a horse farm close to the expressway and Walmart. Could also serve as a quiet getaway if you need to be in the Albuquerque area. We needed to shift our reservation one day and this was not a problem since the site was available. We were even granted a late departure which allowed us to restock curbside at the Walmart. We also grabbed drive thru pizza at Pizza Barn and recommend that. Our kids loved playing with the friendly cats and the host let them feed and pet the horses. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

We stopped at Sweet Melody Farm on our way home to CA from TX. WE LOVED IT! Beautiful property and Victoria is the perfect host. My daughter loved feeding and petting the horses, Josie and Emmy. 5G worked great for video calls in the Airstream. Also, IT SNOWED and was completely magical. Full hookups right off the 40 was already a great find, but the vibe put it over the top. 10/10 would drop in again.

We followed the directions easily enough. Just a few miles off the highway and on our route north. However, we pulled in to no host to greet us and were left to figure out where to park on our own. Since I didn't know the photo of the horse camper was not where we were supposed to park, I was confused, as there was no marked spot, just the a big drive. We tried texting our host with no success. Later we learned she was out hiking and out of cell range, but a simple email informing us of this and where to park would have been helpful. Instead I received a message telling me to disconnect their trailer and hook up. Something I didn't feel like fooling with after 8 hours on the road. So we parked in the spot which is in their driveway and I didn't bother hooking up. We disconnected the water hose the next morning in order to top off my tank and dumped our black tank. The picnic table is next to the outlet, not a pleasant placement. They did have a nice patio off their house that we used to rest. When they finally came in, their talking and car doors woke me up. My traveling companion went out and spoke with them. If you are hauling horses this is a perfect site and price. If you're just passing through this is a good place to perch. However, the lack of privacy is not conducive to staying longer and perhaps a slight discount if you're not using the horse hotel. The grounds were immaculate and the resident horses were extremely polite and friendly. I didn't personally meet Stanley the pig, but he's apparently friendly too. Again, if you're hauling horses, this is an ideal location. They had a separate pen/stalls for guests looked clean and safe for your crew.
