Site 12 - Padilla Ranch Springs
A good place to wait out the snow
I followed the directions in the reviews to get to the site. It's marked with a sign that says RV park.
I had cell service everywhere.
The sites were very convenient. Each one had electricity and water and Pat is going to add plumbing in the summer.
The location is great - right next to the state forest.
Be aware that Pat is developing his land to be a full service RV park. He's building a laundry, bathrooms, a store, and making more parking spots and trails.
That means that during the day there might be construction noise if they are working that day. The upside is that there is plenty of firewood.
There is plenty to do in the area and Pat was a great resource. I really liked learning about his plans for the site and plan to come back to experience the site in all its stages of development.

I called, texted and sent a message on Hipcamp to get directions to get there but I got no response, requesting a refund.

Lost😭
I couldn’t find it and ended up sleeping somewhere else 😭 I’m sure the site is great, but the directions were so poor that I did not get there successfully

Site 12 - Padilla Ranch Springs
Very nice, rustic, relaxing
I like this private campground a lot. The owners are on site, very helpful and friendly. I booked site 12, but Bob moved me to #10 since it wasn’t booked and was nicer. They have drive-up sites with water and electric (no dump station) and walk up sites. They provided firewood, though I don’t know if it was just because they had it on hand. The toilet was a well kept port-a-potty. Really nice place to stay.
