The property is part of a large, old land trust and ranch. There is plenty of hiking, some wild animals and birds, and the stars at night are phenomenal. Learn more about this land: We have simple accessible flat camping tent sites that are drive up and walk-in depending on your needs for privacy and access. There is a shaded cottonwood grove or sunnier spots depending on the season. The canyon is in the foothills of the Sangres and there is a seasonal creek that runs through the land. Family friendly! Private disc golf course is on property. We are approximately 5 miles from I-25 exit and 17 miles from center of Santa Fe.

Little Canyon

All the stars

We only stayed for a brief time. The host was responsive by text and the view of the Milky Way was amazing! We would definitely stay there again.

Little Canyon

We had a great stay at Little Canyon, beautiful views, lovely family. There is plenty of flat land to pitch a tent or park a rig, the outhouse with compost toilet was clean and comfortable and the area is fantastic, conveniently close to Santa Fe but very private. There is hiking right from the property and we had the pleasure of being taken on a walking tour by the kids. We will definitely be back.

Little Canyon

We had a great stay at Little Canyon! Close enough to Santa Fe but also far enough away to have amazing stargazing and a really peaceful night. This was our first time driving a campervan and we were a little nervous about the rough road to get to the site, but we managed alright. The site itself was level and easy to park in and the area felt secluded and serene. We can't wait to come back and spend more time at Little Canyon!

Little Canyon

Truly enjoyable camping experience

As soon as we drove up in our camper van, we were met by Jesse, Marisa and family, who made us feel right at home. They gave us some good info of the area, as there are great trails not far from their land. They directed us to our campsite and we had the place to ourselves. We loved the quiet and the night sky., where you could almost reach out and touch the stars. We would recommend Little Canyon to anyone looking to enjoy Santa Fe, but wanting to "get away from it all." If in the area, we will certainly be back...! Shelly and Shelley
