Great place to camp. It is a little small area with other people around so not to private. However the place was a great stop on our road trip!
Kristina’s place is perfect! Plenty of space, easy to navigate (easily drove the car into the back and tented next to it), privy very clean, area has lights at night so you can drive out/walk to the privy in the dark, view of Chocorua mountain from the campsite and access to drinking water. It downpoured during my dog and I’s stay but there was no mud or flooding the next morning. Convenient location to trailheads (and White Mountain Pizza!). Even with a rainstorm, my dog and I enjoyed our stay!

Quiet, simple, and peaceful. I have stayed here a couple times and it is my go to place to stay when I am in New Hampshire.
I had two “Meccas” in mind when I started out on my road trip from Maryland: Chocorua/Tamworth was one of them, for mountain hiking and lake swimming. Paugus Brook Farm is THE ideal campsite for both! Kristina is an enthusiastic proponent for the hiking culture and generous with her land. Her field is level and spacious, within less-than-mile walking distance on dirt road to two Mt. Chocorua trail loops, and seven miles from one of my favorite Lake Chocorua swimming groves in NH. She’s got a little “store” of hiker treats (for sale). Wasn’t sure about potable water, so I brought my own gallon jugs. Always a good idea w/hip camp sites.) Her outhouse on a corner of the field is a virtual mini ski lodge (!): new pine wood construction, spacious bench with paper towel/TP rolls on wall, “Things to do in Area” posters, hand sanitizer, aromatic wood shavings for composting the so-deep-can’t-see-ot-smell toilet with seat and cover, and instructions for use. K was eager and quick to respond when I twice rearranged my arrival/ departure dates, and I commend Hip Camp for its Modify Trip option. All in all, I was there in perfect weather!
Plenty of space to spread out, beautifully quite space with an awesome compost toilet and water for refilling water bottles and cooking =) Super peaceful and easy stay.
Great location within walking distance to the trail head of a beautiful day hike and a short drive to a lovely spot to swim. The very nice outhouse was a real bonus. Would stay again!
Very peaceful spot, all the campers were very quiet and respectful and the access to hiking trails and Lake Chocorua is wonderful
Simple, straightforward campsite with clean, basic camping amenities. Close to some really great hikes.
