Once a lake, the water has migrated underground into the local aquifer and I'm helping it along into it's transition from dry lakebed into a xeric oasis.

A magical night in the quiet desert
We stayed on our way to Wyoming and had a magical night. Our kids thought it was one of the coolest campsites - so quiet at night, so many stars, beautiful sunrise. Rowan wasn’t able to meet us but directions were clear and kinda fun to follow. I’d stay here again on the next road trip for sure!

Beautiful Desert and stars!
This place was beautiful! As a lot of other people said, the stars were incredible! It took us a bit of time to find, so I should have asked for better directions. But, other than that, great spot! Beautiful desert and colors!

The Azuran Oasis
Rowan was great! Just too bad we did not make it there until MIDNIGHT due to us having to leave later from Oakland and an 11 hour drive. So we could not find the location at all in the nightime. This just make sure to get there before it is dark…or when the host is there.

Peace, in the middle of nowhere
If you want a very isolated camp where you just have the desert and stars to yourself, this is the camp for you. Had a good, serene time staying here.
