This property was such a gem! Vern (Ryan’s dad) was expecting me and drove out to the main road to meet me so he could follow me in because it had rained earlier and he wanted to be sure I could navigate the slick mud. It wasn’t terrible but I’m really new at pulling a trailer so I thought it was especially kind of Vern to meet me. I must say, the road was very slick and, having never driven on anything other than pavement, it was really reassuring to have Vern following my rig and I didn’t get too worried when my truck started to buck and slide. The property has lots of parking options but if you want the full hookups like I did, you’ll be parked by Vern’s huge, well stocked shop. I stayed 6 days and barely heard or saw another human. The sound of trains blowing their horns off in the distance was so pleasant. I was visited by an antelope not 20 feet from me and I felt completely safe. It is such a peaceful spot! Thank you, Vern, for hosting me and thank you, Ryan, for creating this listing!
