The Mooseshroom is an awesome camping community that is just 7 miles from the west side of Glacier National Park. Community fire pits near the Commons are a short walk from whichever tent spot guests are assigned. The Commons also houses the bathrooms and inside/outside kitchen areas. There is plenty of seating, hammocks and picnic tables for guests to use as well. We also have two yurts available for booking on our property. The Mooseshroom is a licensed business that is limited to hosting 18 guests per night. Guests should expect a quiet, peaceful camping experience with plenty of room to enjoy their surroundings. ***This property is adjacent Highway 2 and there is a fair amount of road noise. There's also a train that's fairly close. The noise kinda comes with the territory, guests are also 10 minutes from the west entrance to the park. The noise does tend to subside considerably at night, but for those bothered by this type of noise, you might consider an alternate location. Most guests are truly fine with it.

Site 4 - Mooseshroom Tent/Car Camping Spots

LOVE

This was the warmest welcome we could have gotten on our long journey away from home. Terri tended to all of our needs, gave great suggestions on where to hike in the park, and her place is absolutely adorable. Warm showers, clean bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and fire pit…ect! Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area. Thank you Terri!!! <3

Glacier Yurt

Awesome spot! Terri is a fantastic host! The yurt was warm and cozy throughout the night. Clean bathrooms, and a kitchen area stocked with anything you’d need.

Mooseshroom Yurt

A gem of a location ❤️

What an amazing location. The yurt had super amenities, and the host even set the fire pit for us to have an outdoor “sit” by the campfire. There is no running water but that didn’t stop the host from providing TWO containers of water in the yurt, with one chilled in the refrigerator. Great little touches that made the whole experience fantastic

Def recommend

Terri was so welcoming and the site was perfect. It was very clean and there were hot showers which were much appreciated. This site is very unique and the location is close to West Glacier. Her dog is super sweet, too. Would def come back here.
