We had a quiet and peaceful stay at River Bottom Forest and Fields. Electric was an easy hook up. We didn’t need the water hookup that is available. The two cabooses parked on site are an interesting addition, complete with historic marker.

I almost don't want to write a review but it would be disservice to the family if I didn't. This place is a hidden gem that I don't want to share. It's in a secluded place and is great for anyone that wants a stay outside of Missoula.

Great first experience with Hip Camp. GPS directions were spot on and plenty of room. Even saw a bear on the road on our way back to camp later that night. Would stay again for sure.

Nice place to stay as a basecamp for Missoula! The caboose train cars were great to see and we enjoyed the space to relax by the river

This place has a great vibe! Ended up hanging out on the beautiful property all day, it was so inviting and private feeling. Lots of cool railroad history and folf too! Definitely will be back when in the area.

Mike's train station was great. It was level and had some solar lights so it was easy to find even arriving in the dark. Mike was really helpful and we'd like to return to try fishing the beautiful stretch of river that's right there. The red hip camp sign at the site also really helped.
