Our 40-acre property features forested trails, a large pond, two smaller ponds, a creek, and frequent wildlife sightings—all under spectacular starlit skies. We offer a unique "Coolcation" experience as a peaceful alternative to crowded RV parks, located just 6 miles from the entrance to Glacier National Park!
CHOOSING YOUR SITE ⛺
Please let us know if you have multiple tents or vehicles so we can recommend the best spot.
💧 DRY CAMPING: No hookups provided. Non-Potable Hydrants are available throughout the campground.
🚛 LARGE RIGS: Sites 1–6 are best for larger vehicles. These are in an open, flat meadow with views of the pond.
⛺ SECLUDED TENTS: We recommend the "Back Meadow" (Sites 7, 8, 10-17, 19-20) for more privacy, especially in July and August.
📏 LIMITS: Sites 7–20 accommodate vehicles/trailers up to 36 feet total length because of an access bridge.
🚻 AMENITIES: All sites are back-in (except 13 and 16, which are pull-through), offer partial shade, and have access to clean vault toilets.

Due to our proximity to the National Park and the main highway, some traffic and train noise may be heard. To keep our environment pleasant and reduce dust on Greens Road, please keep driving speeds to a minimum.

We are a short bike ride (2 mins by car) from the Whiskey Barn, Paul Bunyan Bar and Grill, Glacier Hi-Line Ropes Course, and the Amazing Fun Center.

We are 20 mins from the park gates, 20 mins from Many Glacier and about 40 mins to Waterton park. The gradual sloping beach is perfect for all kinds of water sports and recreation. These are newly developed sites (2021) nested on the back of our property about 200ft from our house on a dead-end road. We have rural neighborhood vibe, with a 2 mile scenic paved walking path nearby. We have newly planted trees and shrubs, so not much afternoon shade. With the open areas sunrises and sunsets are fantastic!
Both back in sites are 40’ in length with extra vehicle parking available. Please confirm your measurements before booking. There is enough room to easily pull in and then back into your spot. Ideal for Class-A motor-homes, fifth wheels, tent trailers, travel trailers, pick-up campers and self-contained van campers. Additionally, 1 tent is allowed at each site. Because there are no bathrooms we are unable to accept TENT ONLY camping at this time.
Both campsites have full hookups including artisan well water, septic, with 50 amp electric on site #2 and 30 & 50 amp electric on site #3. Garbage receptacle is located by the east side of the greenhouse.
Plenty to see and do in the Flathead Valley. Lots of wonderful local restaurants, pubs, breweries and wineries. Tons of trails to hike, rivers to raft, lakes to boat and parks to stroll. We have a list of our favorites, don’t hesitate to ask!

The primitive cultural campground serves recreational needs such as campers, bikers and hikers seasonally beginning in the spring and into the early fall. The Home Gun primitive ranch cultural campground also serves as an educational, cultural center for tourists that features Native American storytelling, craft making, dancing and singing. The campground is located adjacent to Glacier National Park off Montana State highway 89 west and Starr School Road (B.I.A 8 West). "Primitive Camp" is defined as a camping area with no utilities, such as electrical, sewer and running water. The project is a design and a build development project by
Clyde Home Gun, a tribal member, on land held in Trust by the United States Government.

Overall this is a very clean and comfortable campground. Bathrooms are clean, plenty of garbage receptacles and water spigots.
My particular spot #95 was a bit disappointing. The picnic table was very damaged and splintered wood chunks missing. Broken glass littered the ground near the main sitting area. The fire pit did not have a grill grate and parking was tight with spot 93.

This spot is incredibly beautiful, surrounded by picturesque mountainscapes with glaciers visible from the campsites. The campground has a spacious and friendly vibe. We enjoyed walking to Many Glacier lodge where we hopped on a boat ride to a hike through the glaciers. While all of the campgrounds we saw and stayed in while visiting the national park were beautiful, some of them did not offer the overwhelming views that this one does, giving you a true sense of place. This is not just another campground - when I go back I will definitely be staying here again, for longer.

The Many Glacier entrance of the park provides access to a separate section of the park containing a nine mile road, hotel, inn, the Many Glacier campground, and many hikes. This campground is typically full all season long but somehow we managed to nab a site. So thrilled!

Solitude. The only thing I could hear all night was the wind through the trees. Not a bad way to fall asleep.

If you're coming to Glacier, make sure to camp here at least one night. It's very popular so make sure to plan ahead; we camped here in late September and every spot filled up. In the off-season, or at least when we were there, the water was turned off and only the vault toilets were available. If you're camping in that time of year, make sure to bring in your own water and firewood! Everything kind of shuts down by then. In the summer there are flush toilets and water spigots. The campground is perfectly situated for accessing some of the greatest hikes in the park. We crossed over Swiftcurrent Creek at the back of the site to begin the hike to Grinnell Glacier, one of the most scenic and stunning hikes I've ever been lucky enough to do.

the campground was full in July but we drove through it anyway and found a single camper asked if he would want to share his site and he said yes! Be bold...it might pay off. We hip amp in a 1997 eurovvan ❤️
