It is out of the way and quite but the nice big pine trees need to have lower limbs removed and a few stumps removed to easily move around as she says it’s smart to get out and walk around before deciding which way to go long bumper pulls are a little tight , still beats a campground anytime
Good and interesting
Place worked out great for us on a motorcycle trip all in all, at 10pm at night we heard a series of yells coming from a trailer house by the entry way, then a guy walking the fence line shining a light back at us and started yelling “hey! Who’s back there”. We confirmed that we had permission to stay and asked us by who! Then he said “I won’t shoot then”. That was a little interesting but other than that it worked for us
Thank you for sharing your place! While this is a nice quiet spot, it’s a little weird to have an old trailer house looking down on you while you camp. Our camper is short & maneuverable but taller so tree limbs were a concern (host warned us). The place has fabulous potential once it’s cleaned up/parked out and tree limbs in the road trimmed back.
Awesome secluded spot!
My husband and I had an awesome time here! We can’t say enough good things about this place and the host. She was very helpful in answering all of my questions!
Our 33ft camper fit perfect here and the pond was great for my dog! You would never be able to tell it is behind a house if there wasn’t a vacant house in the back.
We had the place all to ourselves except one night but still way apart so had our own space.
Will definitely be coming back!
Great spot to camp!
Dolly's property is a great spot just a few min outside of Missoula. Even though you are technically in a neighborhood you really have no idea as the whole property is in the woods and is very private and secluded. The deer added to the charm! Really beautiful in the summer mornings and evenings! I stayed at the end of June and definitely needed my mosquito spray as they were pretty thick but my guess is they will die off in a week or two. I had my truck and 13' scamp camper and there were plenty of spots for me to park and camp. I would absolutely stay here again! (oh and go to the Lolo Steakhouse just down the road!)
