The lower land has steep levels, natural rocks staircases, structures that are not permitted to be accessed but that do add privacy to the hillside experience. Downside is on the lower, although lifted on a whimsical hillside, you will be hearing large trucks and cars, a loud train that goes through town. You can hear and see people in the city park, with an open feeling and experience with downtown, and the Elk river. This lower hillside is perfect for daytime chill space between trips to the river or as you're exploring the area, it's a great place to post for the day and enjoy into the evening, with the more private camping up the hill where the sound of the train and trucks or cars are not bothersome.
