The HIPPIE TRAILER is located on MILO FARM - SACRED LAND- Milo Farm sits just east of Kansas City & is a nature retreat with a cedar forest, a hardwood forest, 2 ponds, bohemian lodge, art studio, pool, barn, miles of trails, campsites & other buildings. This whimsical camping spot is artistically themed with a far-out trailer, deck, fire pit, a forest nook with hammock. The psychedelic decor of the interior comfortably sleeps 3 max. If you have more campers, they can pitch a tent near the trailer. The trailer has electric, heater and AC. Outhouse with compost toilet is just down the trail. Campers can swim in pool by lodge from 12pm-6pm.
Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. Ask about availability of bike, boat and golf cart rental if interested. Also owner can take you on a guided kayak tour down the Blue River if schedule works out. Check out the Rustic Site camping if you have a large group that wants to camp on the same acreage.
This glamping experience is painless with no tent to put up, but you will need to bring normal camping supplies like bedding (sleeping bags, etc), water jugs (for cleaning up and drinking), coolers, etc.

Great place to find inspiration.
Me and my daughter's had a great time exploring the trails, enjoying the fire and stars, and getting a nice goodbye visit from the friendly Donkeys and goats. Trailer was comfy and land was quiet. We'll be back
Mike and Loni have created a beautiful paradise close to the city but you’d never know it. Very quiet! Great place for reflection/meditation. Everything was very clean and well kept. Mike was very accommodating and friendly aw well as Jake the dog 🐶🤎
This place is on some great land with well-maintained trails. The hosts are great people, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The trailer is the perfect mix of modern and primitive - having heat and electricity in late December was really nice. The outhouse is one of the nicest I've had the joy of visiting and just a stone's throw from the trailer. The trailer is situated on a hill and trees obscure lines of sight between it and the main house / other sites. It's fairly quiet but it's possible to hear the occasional engine sound from the farm or occasional noise from a factory down the road - neither was significant enough to affect my enjoyment of the property. The animals on the property are all really friendly. I got to watch a couple of donkeys befriend my dog and that was really a highlight of my trip. Really great firepit and a good grill are at the site. There's a lot of great, fun little spots to discover on the trails and I found them enjoyable during the day and at night. Coyotes and barred owls were heard every night I was there. I will definitely be making it a priority to return and spend some time biking trails nearby at Landahl.
