Peace. with roosters, ducks, geese
The hobby farm was a peaceful getaway. A dog that is a faithful greeter and companion, flocks of geese, ducks, and pigmy goats that meander freely about the parking lot. No traffic or airplane noise. All great frosting. The real treat is Ed, a cool dude who engages with guests, shares his yard and knows the area. He made everyone feel welcome, and we could engage and disengage easily.
We used the hobby farm to explore the state parks along the MN River, but this hip camp can easily be a destination.
The campsite is in a big backyard on a farm with goats, geese, and chickens. The owners are kind and accommodating. I would certainly recommend this as a unique option for a campsite, but also an opportunity to get a taste of hobby farm life. Very fun experience for our family. Would be happy to come again, and definitely recommend.
Very wonderful time here..the host was great and all the animals and land around us was a relaxing time. A lot of beautiful scenery atound the area ...definitely recommend staying here
Country setting with cute animals
We spent three nights with Ed and all his animals. We found it very peaceful and Ed was very accommodating. He walked around with us the first day and explained how he got the place and what his plans were. The goats were fun to watch. There are also some geese and roosters and a couple of dogs. He was having some work done on another part of the property and the workers were also respectful. We were not awakened by any construction noises. Would definitely recommend.
