Come spend the night on our quiet and peaceful hobby farm. We have a home-sawed and hand built log cabin that sits on our wooded 42 acre farm. The campsites are located in a wooded portion of our land that is about a 4 minute walk to the host house. There is lots of privacy and lots of area to relax under the tree cover! We have a large amount of easy hiking trails that run through our property, that we use for ATV trails. Come meet the goats! We have 40+ lovable goats that each have their own personality and love extra attention! We also have 2 Peacocks that you will see soaking up the sun rays!

We are located 4 miles northwest of Preston. 15 miles from Mystery Cave State Park. 5 miles from Historical Forestville Park. 5 miles to the Root River bike trail head in Preston. 20 miles to Niagara Cave in Harmony MN 13 miles to the river town of Lanesboro!

In the area there is a bunch of little towns to do some small town exploring and shopping. The root river is a great river for fishing and floating down. (3 miles south of cabin) you can even take fly fishing classes in Preston.

Kids and pets are welcome! We have a lot of actives to keep them busy and have them sleeping like a log at night! We have a large playground and rock box to play in. Take a nice stroll in the woods ad keep your eyes out for many fossils!

Campfires are welcome we will have fire wood for a small fee!

The camsites are in the woods a little ways, you have to park at our house and we will haul your stuff out. Or if the trails are dry you can drive a SUV/truck out to the cabin.

Beautiful campsite and the hosts were super kind and helpful, especially helping with getting my car back onto the road during a massive rainstorm as I was leaving! The goats are very cute btw :)

We were the first hip campers and honored to be! We followed Cathy on her 4 wheeler through the woods which then opened into a pretty and private clearing where we set up our tent next to their newly built beautiful cedar cabin. Our time was amazingly mosquito free(!?)! We hiked, hung out and visited the goats in the morning before we left. We throughly enjoyed our stay!
