This was our first Hipcamp trip and it did not disappoint. Tom and Julie were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable on their property. They gave us the private experience that we wanted. The site was beautiful. Pictures don’t do justice. Tom checked in on us a couple of times during our visit and we had some great conversations. He even sharpened our axe when he noticed it was dull. They also told us about all the lakes, parks and things to do nearby. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.
Peaceful setting and gracious hosts
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, peaceful setting. Tom and Julie were accommodating and helpful, providing fresh water to fill our tank, firewood, and fun misc. information like when and where the space station would be crossing the night sky. We would definitely stay again!
Great camping experience! The hosts are very nice. Site was easy to get to. Private and quiet and beautiful. Plenty of wood around to use in the fire ring but would be helpful to have a saw for bigger logs. There are a couple convenience stores close by. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area.
