Best Trip !
We absolutely loved our time on Alicia & Tim’s land. We came from Chicago and it was a short 2.5 hour trip to Buchanan, with tons of breweries/distilleries along the drive. We brought our dog for her birthday and to camp for the first time. Our dog enjoyed running in the huge field, jumping off the pier, and kayaking in the lake. The campsite is in a perfect secluded and shaded area with a grill, fire pit, and picnic table. Alicia and Tim are such incredible and gracious hosts, and we will definitely be booking another getaway with them soon. 10/10 stay !!

A beautiful secluded site
A beautiful secluded single site next to a lake. They brought fire wood to the site. Warren Dunes are close by as are a number of small towns to explore.

Private but not as advertised
The hosts were great but unfortunately the listing was not as advertised. It was a private and secluded site but it was not a flower farm. The large open field and access to the lake were overgrown and the upkeep of the property looked minimal. Our site was secluded but had fertilizer on the ground in the areas that were flat enough to set up the tent. I hyped this up to many people and we were very disappointed once we got there.

Amazing place to camp.
We had a wonderful time staying at Loveland Farms. The hosts are very welcoming and responsive, yet also allowed us our privacy as we camped with our 2 dogs. We felt like we had the property all to ourselves. The campsite itself is nestled in a wooded area that provided great shade. The dogs loved jumping off the pier into the lake. And, I highly recommend you purchase the locally sourced cheese and meat platter. It was delicious and allowed us to set up camp without worrying about preparing a dinner. I highly recommend this Hipcamp and would certainly stay there again.
