***As we head into colder temps, a reserved Ridge RV booking may need to be canceled if freezing conditions last for 24 hours or longer.

We are located on the southeast side of Hogback Mountain with trails leading up Hogback, Lily Pond and Harlow Lake.  Surrounded by ridges on the backside and a prairie on the front side, there is plenty of places to explore. *Disclaimer: the road to our site is a seasonal, non-maintained county road of gravel, sometimes pot holes and mud puddles. Almost any car can make it to our house, but low profile tires and cars could be a challenge.

Things to expect, crowing rooster at dawn, 10 year old boy running or riding around, free range chickens, we have a resident dog and indoor kitty, an occasional siting of a porcupine.  Wildlife is abundant, you may hear barred owls hooting at night, coyotes yipping in the distance, see tons of chipmunks, red squirrels, birds, especially hummingbirds. In winter we see more deer come in and hear wolves occasionally in the far distance.

Located just 2 miles from the Noquemanon Trail Network (north trailhead), which has hundreds of miles of summer mountain biking, hiking trails and winter xc skiing, fat tire biking and skijoring trails. For more information on the trails visit noquetrails.org.

We offer ORV guided tours for both dirt bikes and snowmobiles depending on the season or go on your own with the Michigan maps. ORV vehicles must have a current trail sticker to be legal, these can be purchased at many local businesses.

My teenage daughters and I just loved staying here! It seemed very adventurous and was a perfect location from NMU in Marquette where my daughter had to move in for the year. We loved hanging out together in a peaceful place!

Our family of 4 had a fabulous stay at Ridge RV! The location was perfect, the property was beautiful, the camper was spotless and well stocked, and our hosts were so welcoming. We loved the private campfire spot under the hemlock trees and quick access to Little Presque Isle and Marquette. We will definitely be back!

Amazing, beautiful, peaceful and the hosts were great. The pictures do not do it justice how beautiful the land is. April, Mike and zach were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back soon!! Right now hopefully we will be getting married there. ❤❤

Had an amazing time! The scenery was beautiful and so peaceful. The camper had everything we needed and loved the private fire pit. It was a nice and much needed unplugged vacation and we were 10-20 minutes from all the hikes we did , 10/10 would recommend.

Great location and lovely accommodations. Took some really nice hikes right off the property, between the grill and the well-equipped camper kitchen, we were able to made a great meal onsite as well. Unfortunately, it was really warm the weekend we stayed so we did not get to enjoy an evening fire, but I would love to return in the fall when cooler temps and less bugs would allow us to be outside more comfortably. Truly great spot!

This was the perfect location for a quiet get away. It was nestled deep in the woods away from city traffic and noise, yet convenient enough to be able to hike and explore other areas. Hostess was very welcoming and offered many nice touches to make the experience extra special.

We had a great weekend getaway, and Hemlock Ridge Homestead served as a perfect basecamp to hike all the trails in the area. April was very friendly and the camper was very clean!
