I loved how quite it was. The last two campsites are very spread out so you won’t see your neighbors. We had 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs and we all fit pretty comfortably!
Andy’s Hipcamp was perfect for our group. We enjoyed 2 awesome nights relaxing at camp and day hiking around Pictured Rocks and Munising. The campsite was well-kept, and we saw some beautiful wildlife. The fire pit, water access, and port-a-potty were great amenities. Thank you for the getaway!!
This camp is definitely in the woods which was super nice and private, exactly what we were looking for. Potta potty was available, had TP and hand sanitizer. Site #4 was not super flat and didn’t have chairs for the table so be sure to bring your own or ask to borrow them from Andy if you need them. Overall it was a great alternative to a busy campground in the city. Great deal for the price.
Very private! Site 2 was totally secluded and just what we were looking for. I have a noisy dog who doesn’t care for close neighbors while we’re camping, and this worked out perfect. It was easy to find and smack in the middle of all of the sites we wanted to see.

Very private, rustic, easily accessible. Just what we were looking for! Will definitely visit again!
We were looking for somewhere close to Painted Rocks National Lakeshore. It was easy to find and was a nice roomy spot. Quite as can be. Andrew was very welcoming and we would stay again if we were in the area. Thanks, Andrew!

We’re so glad you had a great experience and we meet expectations. We love the central location to all of the action so to speak. What is really nice is how peaceful it is here. We hope you visit us again.
We are site 2-ers and firmly believe it’s the best site! Tucked away down a side path, we felt like we were able to relax and unwind a million miles away from the rest of the world.
The site was clean and set up with a handy table and fire ring (and the firewood we had ordered). There was good space to back our car right up to the site and set up our large tent.
We had neighbors show up one evening and could hear little more than the hum of their motor and the street noise from 77 is super faint in the far far distance. Very quiet! We slept well.
We had zero signal on-site (fine by us!) so make sure you download the maps you need for your adventures. We were traveling to explore Pictured Rocks and enjoyed being close by without being near any tourist traps. I fully recommend staying at Andys Wolf Traxx. It’s a great little spot!
We had a hard time finding a spot to camp that wasn’t a crowded state park for a last minute to trip to Pictured Rocks and Grand Marais area. This hipcamp spot was perfect. It was less than 30 minutes to the shore and we loved the quiet, peaceful campsite. It is easy to find and access. We stayed at site 3 which was perfect for our tent. Andy even refunded me $ when I had to change the dates of our stay at the last minute.

Thank you for your review! It’s always good to hear that we have met or exceeded someone’s expectations at our campsites. Site#2 is the most secluded. We hope you come back next season. We’ll be opening in the middle of May, snow permitting. Look for some improvements. Stay healthy.
