Exactly what we needed.
We camped in the blueberry orchard for two nights in our VW Popup camper. Probably the best camping we’ve done in awhile given the seclusion and absolute beautiful location. It snowed the first night so we woke up to a little winter wonderland! We got fresh eggs, honey, and a freshly baked warm sourdough boule from John! Butter and honey on the bread, surrounded by the orchard…it was like New England 200 years ago.
Cool little spot.
Cool spot. A blueberry field in the woods. Host was very responsive and helpful. Bought Honey, Eggs and firewood. All great. I was there in a van and access was easy - probably not suitable for big rigs though. dirt road access was easy - road in great condition. Could hear a couple of trains in the distance, but they were few and far between and didn't interfere with the serenity of the place. I imagine this would be absolutely awesome in the summer or fall.
John has such a beautiful space! The thoughtful details he provided really made our stay wonderful. He even helped us with a fallen tree in the road on our way out - overall a magical experience! :)
This is a great spot! John brought some amazing sourdough and fresh eggs for us + made water and firewood available. The spot is right by a gorgeous pond in a beautiful silent forest right by the orchard and is very pretty at dawn and dusk!
I absolutely loved staying on John‘s land. It is a beautiful, tranquil spot on a corner of his lovely farm. Not long after I arrived John stopped by with a delicious warm fresh-baked loaf of sourdough bread that I had ordered, along with a complementary sample of homemade honey. It was all delicious and much appreciated. I recommend staying here and hope to be back one day.
Our camping experiences was amazing and we get to see fall foliage on the camp site. We got honey, pizza and bread from John. All of the things were very tasty. John is really nice and its very easy to communicate with him. Definitely recommend the farm.
Amazing remote camping experience!!
This was an absolutely great experience. My family enjoys the remote camping experience and this camp site delivered. It was very quiet and off the beaten path. The property is amazing with a pond and everything. We utilized a roof top tent so we were not able to camp by the pond, however the area we were in was just as nice and is only a short walk to the pond. John was super attentive with answering any questions that we had. He makes amazing sourdough bread as well as many other farm related items which you can purchase for your stay. There is NO cell service which was very much appreciated. We will absolutely be back!!!
