Great spot and easy to find! We were happy to see a fire built and ready to lite, made setting up in the dark more peaceful.

This was a great weekend getaway. perfect to unplug and relax. West was very friendly and welcoming. The spot was private and tons of hiking trails and ice cream shops nearby.

Another beautiful evening boondocking on West’s property. Tons of space. West is a fantastic host. He provides a fire pit, wood and picnic table.
Beautiful area, close to so many great places, quiet, great host, neat little farm. Really great experience.
The roost was such a lovely campsite! Nested on top of a hill with clear views of the East and West so you get both a amazing sunrise and sunset. The Appalachian Trail is just a few minutes up the road and the small town nearby offers local produce, homemade ice cream, and gifts. West was a very welcoming host and introduced me to all his farm animals to include baby goats! The site was also very dog friendly with plenty of space for Fido to roam.
Pretty hilltop field, quiet, rural and away from roads and road noise and lights. West apparently keeps quite a collection of birds at their house, regretfully i was on the move and could not visit them. Very good communication. I’ll stay there again if I’m passing that way. Nice, real folks.
We had a nice relaxing weekend at Rohrersville Roost with our two grandchildren. They loved seeing all the animals and having farm fresh eggs for breakfast. West is a very accommodating and flexible host.
Great spot! West was a wonderful host, with a fire pit and great views. The farm animals were a blast to see.
