Peggy’s place is simply gorgeous!! A beautiful pond, wide open space and unmatched scenery. The stars at night are big and bright (but not in Texas) truly magical!! We went at a perfect time when the chestnut and walnut trees were giving up its fruit!!! Just so so perfect!! And also the pond offers a fun fishing experience!!

Peggy's family farm is by far the best place we have visited so far! We spent a quiet evening watching the mist rising from the pond after the sun set and then a nearly full moon rising. In the morning as the sun warmed the air, we watched as the mist evaporated. There are several acres of lush meadow in this tranquil valley that our dog Molly thoroughly enjoyed rooling in. I bet that small children would also enjoy rolling down the gentle slope too.

Thank you, Peggy for sharing your peaceful valley with others!
For those camping in a vehicle, the levelest spot to park is closest to the barn while the 15 amp outlet is up the driveway a bit. Our 20 ft cord was too short so bring at least a 50-ft one if you must have power at night.

Beautiful, serene, quaint, you name it. This place is IT. I was greeted by Peggy who's a wonderful host. I camped there only for one night and wished to stay longer. It was a rainy night which gave me a good night sleep. Too bad the rain stayed throughout the morning after so the sunrise was nowhere to be seen. All the more reasons to come back! :)
