We are frequently wiping them with sanitizer on a cloth as well to prevent spread of the virus through contact with the animals and appreciate your cooperation in this. We are also asking that people take their trash with them so we are not risking contamination from handling other peoples items. Our trip here was phenomenal! Not only were we met with an incredible ambiance, but Angela and Erin were extremely kind, and we felt totally welcomed. We woke up to the sun rising over the pond, and fell asleep to the sounds of crickets and a fresh running stream. All amenities mentioned were included and Erin even gave us a tour of his shop to show us his beautiful artwork. I could not recommend this stay more.
Splendid scenic mountain site
Beautiful setting, interesting and welcoming hosts, well laid out site and very well groomed. Enjoyed the shade and proximity to a small pond and exotic ducks, plenty of privacy, as well as hiking options on the farm and the surrounding environs along sparsely trafficked farm to market roads. And worth rising before dawn to view the panoramic night sky. Despite torrential rain the second night, no water accumulation at camp and no problem departing in the morning. Also very much like the look of the second camp site on the farm, Meadow Land, and plan to return in the fall and enjoy the 360 view of the stars. Great stay, highly recommended!
Lovely camping site by a pond
We enjoyed our stay. The area was very good for tent camping. We only had one tent but there was lots of room. A single fire ring and picnic table were sufficient for us. The bathroom and water situation was adequate. The highlight for the two girls was the pond. They caught (and released) at least 6 sunfish each, plus frogs, freshwater oysters. There were few if any mosquitos which was a relief. The owner is friendly and helpful and the dogs and geese like to stop by and say hi.
Fun and relaxing trip!
If you’re looking for a relaxing few days out in the sun, this campsite is perfect for you. It’s a secluded getaway complete with a campfire and a great view of the stars on clear nights. There is a waterfall about a 5min drive away that is an amazing sight, a great photo op, and the perfect place to cool off!
Amazing land / hosts!!
Was such a wonderful stay!!! The hosts are really wonderful and down to earth. And the land is absolutely gorgeous. It was such a joy to get to know the two of them and the story of the land. Highly highly recommend <3
