The place is kind of magical with all the dragonflies, butterflies, beautiful skies and wide open spaces. Thank you for the hospitality.

Yates offers a wonderful patch of land for camping. Had front row seats to a heat storm and the land was very secluded so the pups could roam.

We really enjoyed camping here! The campsite (#3) was nice and secluded. Great birding, and fun listening to the tree frogs as we were falling asleep!

Beautiful and serene!! Easy distance to the dock/boat launch from the riverside sites. As stated in the listing, it’s a fairly steep incline then narrow walkway out to the dock- but doable with two people (we had two 13 ft kayaks) and soooo worth it to paddle around those beautiful waterways! There were a fair amount of ticks around so make sure you have some protection on board for your dogs and yourself. We definitely plan to return to this place!

Yates’ land is heaven on earth. Breathtaking views, sunsets, meadows. Campsites are peaceful, private and set up perfectly. This was my 2nd stay and I hope to be back again soon. Saw lots of animals too: large turtle/tortoise, wild turkeys (I think), deer, rabbits, birds galore. Heaven on earth! Many thanks, Yates!

Yates's property is beautiful - a mix of farm fields and shaded clearings with a view of the marsh grasses and river. We enjoyed the sounds of birds and the solitude that the land provided.
