You can see all kinds of wildlife if you are quiet enough! The open fields provide beautiful views of the night sky and there are a few lakes nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at Bonnetts Boreal Forrest. The location was easy enough to find and upon arrival Darren came out to greet us and let us follow him out to the camp site so that we knew exactly where to go. He provided us with some firewood, and we enjoyed a great little chat about the highlights of the area. He told us that they had seen Northern Lights the night before from their home, so we were on the lookout but didn't get so lucky. The field was an amazing spot for star-gazing however. And when we woke up in the morning there were a few deer just outside our camper van.
